• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Magic mirrors

Yes I have them on RTL for about 2 years without any problem and they work great but don't get your fingers between the magnetic or you well feel it big time.

Hi, has anyone tried the Magic Mirror magnetic system? My clips are getting worn out. Thanks
Do a search on here and you'll read lots of comments. If you put magic mirror worth in the search box you'll get about 30 hits. Magic mirror will get you about 500 hits.

But yes, they are definitely worth it.

Get them and install them ASAP! They are worth every dime.
No more hitting, beating and abusing mirrors on a $30,000.00 Spyder (DUH) not to mention buying replacement $11.00 clips to keep on hand. Here is my review:

BRP Should Pay For These!
The first time I removed a OEM mirror on my 2018 RTL I was SHOCKED!!!! What am I doing hitting and banging my brand new mirrors like it was a punching bag? One of the wire clips were already bent. I researched and installed these Magic Mirrors so now I can confidently remove and install my mirrors to do any work on this Spyder. Good product!

Just got them and love them. I was always dreading removing my mirrors to work on my RT and now it's a breeze. Mike

I put them on my RTS almost two years ago. No problems at all. Good product. Value Accessories and LaMonster Garage sells them. Both are vendors on the home page.

I had a set put on my 2014 when the movers damaged my mirror mounting brackets. They have been working flawlessly since.

They are one of the early-to-instal and must-have accessories. Sure beats the factory method for removing the mirrors (pun intended)

Some of us have made our own and saved a bunch of money and spent quality time in our workshops. BlueKnight911 has a good thread about the DIY version.

Yes I just put the bottom 2 on and left the clip on the top. Work great. Easy install and worth the effort.

:agree:.... I only have them on the bottom two also ….. I put them on about 4 years ago ( @ 20,000 mi. ) and neither mirror has ever fallen off. …. the magnet system is an incredibly smart idea …. but IMHO the upper clip wasn't the issue and wasn't defective ( so-to-speak ) …. that part worked as designed and wasn't difficult to use as long as you used it the way BRP told you to. …… Mike :ohyea:

I purchased my 2016 RT Limited in late September 2018 after having 2 Goldwings over 13+ years.

My first big mod on the bike was replacing the LED headlights and foglights. After that, the magic mirrors were next. Lesson learned.

Magic mirrors should be your first mod if you do any work on your bike!!!!!!!!
