• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Getting ready for the big snow storm that starts later today. this is what I did for one of our Spyders. Now it's ready for the long tow to Arizona that we start on Friday.
Have a safe trip Les & Kathy!!! Too bad this snow storm going to slop up the roads and get Kathy's pretty Spyder all messed up.

It's windy and raining here in the north part of the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) but yesterday was 9C/48F and sunny so, I took the Green Goblin out for an end of season run!

PW2013stl Not to change the subject but, what kind of trailer are you using and where in AZ are you going?

It's a Kendon trike/spyder trailer that I added Etrac to as well as made a spare tire mount for mounting it on the front rails. The stock mount is under the trailer - just where you would have to unload the trailer and jack it up so you can try to unbolt it - no thanks!
The trailer pulls great and I can fold it up and stand it up against a inside garage wall. We live in a detached town home and not allowed to park a trailer outside.

We are going to Apache Junction

Today (11/28) All the bikes are parked. Rain and 38 degrees. The 2011 has gone to "no more rides." Linda took her last 100 mile ride on Monday. Going to "decommission" it for the ride back to iMotorspots for resale. Pulling all the stuff out of the storage, license plate to be removed, and the new water jug carrier to be removed. It has been a great Spyder since purchase in 2012. No issues whatsoever.

The 2014 RT and the Vulcan are now our primary rides. Linda has ridden the 2014 but not a lot, and not for awhile. She went about 75 miles on it on Tuesday and I rode shotgun on the Vulcan. She likes the "more power, and the lighter" feel of the 2014.

I still love riding the Vulcan 900. It is a nice break from the "usual." F3L should arrive in two to three weeks.

Proper farkeling

I'm warming the garage ( 12* F here last night) to install some TricLED Fenderz safety lights. Newer style has sequential pattern and looks KOOL.

Update:: These are REALLY Bright

Took the Spyder out in the rain today, had not ridden in the rain in several years, and guess what, she got mad at me and overheated, went into limp mode. Now she gets to ride on a flat bed back to the dealer on Tuesday! So much for having the water pump replaced:banghead:
