• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

This is Albania... nope, not Alabama, Albania with F3s 🤟

I see The Beast has been up graded with a back rest. Nice!

Ohhh jeeez, yes. I hate that "upgrade" but if you love her, and dont wanna lose her going fast from corners...i had to upgrade TheBeast... well i call it "geriatric" upgrade...

Thanks for the views of Albania, Martin; most enjoyable. 49 years ago, as a late-blooming 'flower child' wandering around Europe, and in the process of traveling by VW camper bus from Paris to Athens, via the Dalmatian coast of (the-then) Yugoslavia, several friends and I tried to enter Albania, but got turned back at the border, near Rashtish. At that time, Albania was a very tightly closed country, under communist rule; foreigners rarely got to see it. We had to back-track all the way around Lake Skadar, avoid Albania entirely, go through the mountains over to Skopje (which had just suffered a terrible earth quake), and enter Greece through Northern Macedonia. A great adventure in itself, but I have enjoyed seeing and learning a bit of what we missed, thanks to your video. Wonderful!! Keep it up, please. BTW, what camera do you use?

Wow Sir.
that must be a trip back then. WoW!!! I am complete rookie compared to you... ufff
As for the camera I do have several :)
2x GoPro 7 Black because of decent video stability
1x Insta 360 One X for cool looks around
1x DJi Mavic Pro first edition
and lets not forget about cell phone Samsung S9plus that does its job from time to time

and ton of patience :))))))))))))))))
this is what i use :)))

Thanks for the videos. The scenery is beautiful. Glad you are having a fun and safe journey. My trivial knowledge of Albania is that its largest export product is chrome. That's all I have! :) Will continue enjoying your videos!

Hi Martin:
You are far too kind in your comments about my travel adventures in Europe "way back when". You are certainly no rookie, and I was always far from being expert in anything. Simply put: we both love to travel and see new sites. I wish you well in your future rydes on 'The Beast'. Thanks for the camera info. I had tried using a Cyclops, which I found difficult and frustrating. It came with my Spyder. Just recently, I bought a Go Pro 7 Black. I hope to use it soon. I don't really do all that well with photography; if I get pics even half as good as yours, it will be rewarding. Please keep your very delightful videos coming. Ride safe and enjoy!!! Cheers, Roger.

Share your itinerary when you come, myself and probably many others will ride with you for portions of the trip!
