• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Harley: 176,000 Bikes Recalled for Possible Brake Failure

Bummer.....

When it rains it pours...dropping sales for the last few years and now another recall...:yikes: not good...:lecturef_smilie:

Recall

I Told Those H D Boys that there time would come. :lecturef_smilie: PS: Sorry about the Brake issue. :gaah:

It is too bad about HD

I hate to see companies in trouble - unless it is deserved because of illegal, unsafe, poor products practices, etc... I'm not suggesting that HD deserves to fail... I'd rather see them flourish, along with Indian, Honda, BMW, Kawasaki, and all the rest... I believe that it's good for consumers and capitalism. I hope they get things turned around.

The local Harley dealer is closing the doors next week. I don't think any bike shop can make it these days when they only sell one brand and no STV/UTV.

Right now, it is a buyers market for just about any brand. There are only so many of us geezers left. Not enough of the younger crop seem to be interested in much when it comes to motorcycling.

The choices seem more and better than they have ever been. I go back to the sixties (1960's :roflblack::roflblack:), on all of this.
