• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anybody secured a Tank Bag to an F3? How?

When I first purchased my F3, I wanted to install the tank bag I had on my Sportster. Unfortunately, the bag attaches magnetically to a metal tank and obviously this won't work. I assume if I do some disassembly, I can run nylon straps under there, somewhere, and make it work. Anybody done this? :hun:

My opinion.... Sell yours and get one designed for the model you have. Those magnets may damage the finish on the F3 if not now in time. Nelson riggs has some bags that will probably work or maybe Kuryakyn or BRP....

Here's mine...

Both side panels must be removed, and the strap goes under the gas tank....
I've since changed the bag to an all-black bag, however installation is the same...

Or perhaps I could just remove the magnets? I love the bag and it would be a perfect fit if I could successfully anchor it. I think that the following post is the path I would choose. It is, in fact, made by Kuryakyn. Thanks for your reply.
