• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Bikes you would like to see come back

My all time favorite...

motorbike228581.jpg Kawasaki 750 Triple, with a set of expansion chambers of course. Those things were bad to the bone.

 A buddy of mine had a 1972 H2 with Triple-Dencos, and Egli bodywork...
When that beast got up on the pipes: :bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:

Unfortunately; it also handled about like a 300 pound Hooker in a featherbed! :yikes:

Bring back RD/RZ 350 Yamaha, or any 2 stroke street stormer.

Like XS 650 in one of the first posts, I see some of these street-tracked, or bobbed.

Enjoyed a lot of different Suzuki's over the years, Probably because of wide, flat, firm seat. like GS850G.

Looking at all of these posts. I like almost every throwback model people selected. Probably why I like
that new CB1100 Honda, just unable to move back to two wheels.

If they won't come back..

keep your eyes peeled for an original. I wish I had a dollar for every time I hit the brakes and my wife says "good grief, what did you see now?" I spotted both of these bikes sitting alone in someones yard while out riding. One last year and one three years ago. Stopped, knocked on the door and next thing you knew they were mine and for a nice price. A little bit of money spent on some needed parts and a LOT of cleaning and polishing. I enjoyed it and while neither of these were "benchmark" models they are good reliable old bikes. An original, unmolested bike will catch my eye very quickly.

Ditto on GS850. I added Vetter Fairing, Vetter Trunk, Vetter Bags, and Crash bars.

How about the Kaw KZ900? I knew a guy that had one just like this,Capture.JPG, and have heard others on the street. I've just never heard any other bike that sounds like them. I don't think that the KZ1000 sounded like them, very close but not the same.

Honda V-45 sabre. This was a great bike.

Had one. Black 1982 model. Sold it with nearly 100,000 miles on the odometer.

Those KZ13s were MASSIVE!!
But I think that I preferred the styling of the CBX... even though the center cylinders always ran hot!

The Benelli Sei with all those exhaust pipes; may have been the prettiest one of all...even though it was only a 750! :D

I had 2 KZ1300s. one standard and one touring. They ran like sewing machines as long as you remembered to adjust the cam chain. Great bikes
