• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Got a new toys today. A used 622 trailer, cover, hitch and light wiring kit from another local in St Pete. It's a 2010 in very good shape. Not the same color as my RTL, but we may address that later. Looking forward to the install and to using it. trailer.jpg

Very nice...

And very sought after. It is the better of the trailers from brp and no longer made...:banghead::banghead::banghead:

We enjoy and use are 2010 622 a lot . Take it cherry and apple picking, grocery shopping. It would be perfect to take to Plant City and pick Strawberries, if your into that. We pack a picnic lunch and have a blast.

My bride and I are relatively new Spyder owners (2015 RT-S and 2013 RT Limited) and can't help asking, why did BRP choose stop production of what, apparently, was a good product? Wife's Limited has the OEM trailer hitch and we've been researching trailers for longer trips. We both like the 622 and were disappointed to find it's no longer available. Seems like situations such as this always happen to us. Curious.

The other side of the story, I own the new Freedom trailer. Absolutely no issue at all with this trailer. It pulls like a champ, don't even know it's back there. I am very happy with my Freedom trailer. Can recommend it . IMHO

Usually only one reason why production of any product stops - poor sales. I'll bet just like every other Spyder product, it was highly overpriced. That kills sales. Ive noticed that every last accessory made by BRP is ridiculously expensive and im sure that trailer was no exception.

Price can be a killer sometimes. With our product, that seems to be the norm.

Florida fantastic. We use ours a bunch. Groceries, shopping at the mall, travel trips etc.

You will enjoy it.

PM me and I can explain a simple inexpensive mod to keep it dry inside with our Florida rains.

You will also want a long wide flexible second mudflap. The trailer hitch mudflap is crap. Add another and the trailer plus especially the riders will stay dry whether towing or not towing.

I too made an extended second mudflap that almost touches the pavement, and I still get "stuff" on the trailer sides up front. Kinda wondering if some of it isn't coming from the front tires.

We went blueberry picking a couple of weekends ago in Ruskin. You are correct that it would have come in handy!

Now I just need a way to get the color to be a match to the intense pearl red of the bike without breaking the bank.

Nice looking trailer. Luckily it will at least go with just about any color. I just got a 2014 trailer in deep brown metalic. My RT Limited is intense red Pearl so I have to address the color now. Paint shop is having trouble with the color codes from BRP, but it will be painted.
