There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I was going to mention the health benefits of anchovies; but, being as how you're interest in a 62" pizza, and 10# morning muffins, I'm pretty sure it would fall on deaf ears.

You can get a Halibut Pizza here at Moose's Tooth as well as many other "modern" types. I have not succumbed. A favorite gathering place for the "greenies."

Sure seemed odd at how uninterested the staff was about it all. I suppose in reality it IS an individual's duty to report theft. We changed all of our banking account info today. Didn't lose anything, but our checkbook was laying out on a seat of the truck. Grrr.....hopefully the thieves got rained on during their expedition through vehicles...after all, we seemed to get rained on every day....LOL:yikes:

If you never attend Spyderfest you will be missing out on one of the best yearly events put on strictly for Spyder Owners.
Don't let one minor incident ruin your fun.
This could happen anywhere, even inside your home.

This kind of thing can happen anywhere.. to anyone. Not gonna stop me from coming.
At Sturgis there have been cases of bikes being stolen... 4 guys... two poles... pick it up and move it onto a trailer....
Some common sense helps:
Park your bike in a well lit area.
Keep an eye on it and the area as well as people wandering about.
Lock it.
Don't leave valuables on or in it.
Carry good insurance.
And no... don't try and be Rambo and shoot someone messing with your bike.... that's the worst idea ever. There's always plenty of people at Spyderfest carrying guns around... certainly doesn't deter anyone from breaking into bikes, nor would we want a shootout in the parking lot.
Did I mention to carry good insurance?
I've been to all 8 Spyderfests and never had a problem. My GPS was on my bike the first few days at Spyderfest this year. After hearing of the break-ins at the Best Western I went and pulled it off the bike. I never did hear of any issues at the Lamplighter. We stayed at the Candlewood behind the Lamplighter this year and it was great... MUCH nicer place and rooms. We did manage to party most nights at the Lamplighter though.:thumbup:

I stayed at the Candlewood Suites. My room was next to an exit and on the back side. I asked about whether they had a back parking lot since it would be closer to my room. They told me that they had a back parking lot but asked me to park in the front lot because it would be patrolled. They also suggested that I not leave any valuables in my vehicle. Common sense stuff to me.

two of my sons took me on a trip to do the dragon we were on the way home we stayed at a motel in Kentucky we were taking luggage off the bikes when an officer stopped by and told us if we wanted to keep every thing we owned take everything we wanted to keep and put it in our room good advice where ever you are.

My wife and I stayed at the Coach House during Spyderfest. The night of the burglaries both of our F3-Ts were hit. She had left her saddlebags unlocked. The thief left both bags
open. Luckily, she only left a small first aid kit in her bags and it was untouched. Ironically, I had empty bags that were locked and found the plastic release latch snapped off in an attempt to break in. I spoke briefly with Pitbull's service people. they think it may be about a $100 part plus labor. On a lighter note, we had a wonderful time. Thanks to MoGang for all their work. We also found the people at all the passport stops to be very friendly and welcoming.
