• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Saw this behind a motorhome. Back wheel secured in cradle. Fronts strapped down like a car.

Nice...!!

I would suggest two things....Remove the cover, will damage the finish on the spyder and remove the windshield which can also be damaged especially the support system. Otherwise works

There's something similar listed on ebay that a man fabricated himself for his Spyder, if anyone needs something like this.

gene, if you take the cover off i'd think you'd get a lot of dings and chips on the spyder from stuff getting kicked up from the road by the rv! just saying !!!

I am not saying you are wrong but an RV will create a large pocket close behind it with little to no air movement. I think the Spyder will be just fine that close behind.

you may be right I have only towed behind my car...if so he is good to go....

Is the "Tie Down Strap" over the rear wheel of the spyder( in the center of the rear tire)?

Is so, the Tupperware wont get scratched. Mike( Blueknight911) tied down my 2012RTS-SE5 on a snowmobile trailer, and my spyder did not move, and their the Tupperware did not get scratched. Deanna

I agree with you about airflow. I followed this rig for about 10 miles and never saw the cover flapping.

We have a master tow dolly we used for pulling our car behind the RV. It is nerve racking enough just getting a sedan up on one going forward. No way on this green Earth would I want to ride a Spyder up there in reverse.

Lot of tongue weight going on there!
You're right, but not enough to bother a motorhome or probably even a full size SUV. I think it's a great idea. The one the guy built and is selling on eBay is especially nice.. I'd buy that one on eBay, if I lived in Texas and could easily pick it up.
