There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I haven't installed mine on the tongue, but I do install it by placing one of those black plastic crates (looks an old milk crate) that you can get at Walmart, etc., and my 1.75 gallon RotoPax fits snugly inside. There is no smell which will permeate the inside of the trailer. I also put a lot of my other "stuff" (cleaner, oil, tools, ect) inside the crate. Its very easy to get to and has worked well. Again, there is no smell. RotoPax has a GREAT container.

Thanks Chris, great suggestion. I hadn't even thought about making up a cleaner and supplies kit. Plus, as Bob noted, I now don't need to worry about someone swiping it.

This is what i use in my 622 trailer.
Case measures 18"X15" and is 11" deep, the smaller case inside is a case for wine that i found at a container store.
It holds 4 quarts of fuel, 1 quart of anti-freeze, i pint of Brake Fluid, 2 Quarts of oil, i bottle of Black diamond detailer and one small bottle of back to black, a 8 oz bottle of lubricating oil and a dozen microfiber cloths. The fuel is from Lowes it is 92 octane ethanol free, i change it out about once a year.
This case sits in the front of the trailer under the small door and is readily accessible, i ran out of fuel one time going to Colorado, and was happy that i had the extra fuel, i have also used the extra fuel twice for bikers that were broke down on the side of the road because they ran out of fuel. The quarts of gas in these non-leaking cans is expensive (about $4.50 a quart), but when you need them they are worth their weight in gold.

Tommy had 2 of theRotopax on his 622 on the Alaska trip. The only issue he had was that the trailer stand doesn't work with them.

No it just sits in the front end of the trailer.

What size Rotopax is that? Any issues or things you'd do different, any theft concerns? Looks like a nice setup, I'm torn with freeing up space inside trailer and having the pax outside and having to lock them up and possible damage.:dontknow:

If you can find a dealer in your area that has them in their store, you should go look at one. They are very heavy duty and designed not to leak, no matter what direction they're laying. There's no comparison to a regular, plastic gas can.
