• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

here is a video I did about 2 months ago, just got it up on line, my buddy is on a kawi versys 650, took off a little too fast for the camera guy but it him chasing the spyder.

mn state hwy 84 south of longville mn, its great before all the tourists get up here in the summer and clog it up with boat trailers with no brake lights or turn signals, got a new video of the south end of it I shut the camera off when I thought I turned it on in this section. There are several great roads like this up in north central mn, (3-4 hours north of the twin cities, 2-3 hours west of duluth and 1.5-2.5 hours east of fargo ND depending on how fast you drive)

it was wayyyyyyyyy more fun when I was not hurt on 2 wheels, you can go fast on a spyder when its wet of course.

I've found that a BMW K12LT does so quite nicely!!:D

I will take your bullets, always up for a challange. I know straight line I get outpaced at 120 so we have to have some corners, we can bet lunch on it, friendly style.

That would do it, but all bets would be off if you were pulling your trailer.

I think my BMW F650GS (also a Rotax engine) would mostly keep up, but it would be a real thriller of a ride. Of course, if the race is long enough, no matter how curvy the course is - the BMW would win hands down - it gets around 70 mpg.

Sadly, I am going to sell my 650, I just don't ride it now that I have the Spyder - After all these years, I finally find the perfect motorcycle for me and New Mexico and along comes the Spyder.

Wish you weren't so far away. I've been considering adding a 650GS to my menagerie.

I am from Grand Rapids MI, and I plan on visiting the relatives in the next month or so. It would fit on the back of my Jeep, just fine and Battle Creek is just a little out of my way.

It is a 2007 with just under 8k miles, includes Caribou hard cases, BMW tank bag, heated grips, ABS, etc.
Always BMW serviced & current. Runs great.

$6,500 to a good home.

What year and mileage? Maybe I have to start sweet talking my wife. Hope she doesn't make me get rid of the RT. :D
