• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Turn Signals blinking fast, but 4-ways normal. LED's installed. Any ideas?

I have a 2011 RT-S. The turn signals (left or right) blinks very fast. All bulbs are good. When I use the four-way flashers, they blink slower (or normal). Could there be a problem with a ground wire?

Thank you.

Have you added any extra turnsignal lights, or changed to LEDs?
If you haven't; then I would suspect a loose connection somewhere...

Do you have any added lights hooked to the turn signals?
If not then double check all bulbs are working. You could have a couple out in the tail lights that might not look like it unless you inspect closely.
If you have any add-on lights you may need a resistor.

Interesting. ...

Give the search a whirl..there have been some postings on resetting the flasher speed. I think Lamont posted one of them...

This should work to reset your turn signal speed

1. Turn key ON
2. PRESS & HOLD Hazard Button for 30 sec.
3. Cluster will flash once( I never saw this happen)
Reset Complete

The hazard flasher is separate from turn signal operation and is made to flash proper speed regardless of too many or too few bulbs. You have too much or too little load on the T/S system. At worst the cluster has a problem.

Yep added the BRP Hitch and Harness, hooked up the trailer lights to bike and signals would flash like strobes.
Trailer wiring is 5 wire + ground.

I have a 2011 RT-S, when you use the left or right turn signal they blink fast. But when I us the 4 way flasher, the lights blink normal. This problem just started. LED's installed: Rear Saddle Bag Lights (2011), Front Fender LED Lights (2011), Rear Third Brake Light (2011), Bumpskid LED (2011) and LED Tip Light (2015).

I'm thinking something is not grounded correctly. Do I need to add a resistor? If so, what type and where do I place it? All lights are working, and all connectors are good.

Thank you for any help.

I agree that you've got a bit of "suspect" wiring in there...
There's no need to add any resistors, until you troubleshoot the wiring first. nojoke
Good Luck!!

You need to add a couple resistors or rewire with relays.

The recalibration procedure that Purple Guy explained will not work on your 2011. Only on 2014 or later models.
