There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. '08 GS, Both turn signals doesn't work. Any ideas?

Greetings all. Hoping someone will be able to assist me before I take my bike to the dealership for repair. $$$

I have a 2008 Can-Am Spyder GS where the turn signals stopped working. I have checked the wires, bulbs, fuses, and connections, finding nothing unusual. When I turn on the flashers, all the lights to the turn signals come on and flash accordingly without any problems. All other lights on the bike works. Any ideas or direction I could proceed. Thank you in advance.

I dunno about those early Spyders, but do they have a separate relay for the Turn Signals to the one that operates the Hazard Flashers?? :dontknow:

If so, that's what I'd be looking at! ;)

Good Luck!

Looking at the wiring diagram, if I am reading it correctly, the hazard switch and turn signal switch both feed into the cluster. However, the hazard switch is fed by 12v and the turn signal switch by ground. That is, the hazard lights are activated when the cluster sees 12 on the hazard pin, and the turn signals are activated when the cluster sees ground on either turn signal cluster pin. A bad ground to the turn signal switch would explain why the hazard lights work but the turn signals do not. I would check/clean the connector for the switch and test for ground if you are able.

I would check out that switch, it may need a cleaning or replacement! :dontknow: If you have power or continuity thru it or not.

Thank you all. I'll definitely try the recommendations. I checked the wiring diagram, and it was a little bit confusing to me. Thanks for clarifying it for me. It now makes sense now.
