• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Brake Pedal Extension for the 2014 RT

Glad to hear that it worked as planned!
Sorry to hear that it had to!:yikes:

It's good that you let that nit-wit know, that he is "Number One in your heart"! :D

Did a little work on the return spring today. Didn't like how I had it mounted so I copied what someone else here on the forum did. Much better feel to it. Need to do some riding with it to see if it has enough tension. Also took a pic from the side for you guys to see how the arm bolts to the factory pedal. Once I'm happy with it I take it off and paint it.

When you find the proper spring for the job; please take note of it's origin and part number for us!
Glad to hear that you're making positive progress! :2thumbs:

Thanks Joe, I'll check that one out. I'm looking for a spring with enough pull on it to give a little feel to the pedal. The one I have is enough to keep the brake light off but not enough to let you feel the pedal. At least I don't end up with a cramp in my leg like I was getting with the factory setup. I still miss having front brakes controlled from the handle bars like a bike. I've always been one that used the front brakes for most of my braking. I'll learn to deal with it.

Rumor has it that if you connect it to the exhaust system, because of its placement, you will get a whistling effect :dontknow::dontknow:, i kept it all to one side of the bike thereby eliminating any air/whistling effect.

Ya like this one??? (ya asked for a picture, you failed to tell me what you wanted a picture of, I don't know how to take a picture of whistling:dontknow::dontknow:)

(Whistling = air going through the spring causing a whistling effect while the Spyder is in motion)
