• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

:agree: If you take it to any decent hardware store; they can match up the threads for you. All that you'll need to do, is give them an idea of what the original length was...

Good Luck!

Thanks Bob, I called Rivco, they said it was a 7/16x20x1....? But the bolt is. 3/8

Hard to say..!!

Rivco probably uses sae bolts. The spyder is metric so the taking the bolt with you is the best idea. As said give them the length and home depot, hardwear or autoparts store will fix you up...

Are the brackets stainless also? If so then you need to use some anti-seize compound to keep the bolts from galling. Stainless bolts into stainless is a bad combination. They want to gall and seize up. That might be why yours broke.

Yes sir they were galled, would like to find a bolt locally, Rivco did say they would send me another though, ...

Any well stocked hardware store or farm supply store will have them. If the bolt isn't openly visible I'd suggest you get a yellow chromate coated bolt. Rust won't be much of a problem, if at all, and you'll avoid the stainless in stainless galling potential.

Also make sure you get a harden bolt. If you get a regular grade bolt it will likely do the same thing again.
