Seemed like a fair article from a motorcyclist's perspective. Journalists need to get over the fact that a Spyder is not two wheeled motorcycle just like a quad or four-wheeler is not a dirt bike. However, the fun factor is the same either way.
I've been approached by "bikers" saying that they "don't get" the advantage to the Spyder. First of all, there is no advantage, it's just a different type of riding. But, the article is correct in pointing out that on both machines "you’re riding free in the breeze." And, isn't that really the most important thing anyway?
Of course, I must admit I do enjoy the embarrassed looks on their faces when they are walking away and notice my disabled license plate. (Removes foot from mouth) You see, the third wheel is not an advantage . . . but a necessity for me. And I know that I'm not alone in that.
