• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

:agree: If I wasted time worrying about what other people thought of my bike; I'd be kept too busy to ride it! :yikes:

It's their opinion. Can anyone fill in the blanks and finish this quote? Opinions are like a**holes. Everybody has one and most of them stink.

Seemed like a fair article from a motorcyclist's perspective. Journalists need to get over the fact that a Spyder is not two wheeled motorcycle just like a quad or four-wheeler is not a dirt bike. However, the fun factor is the same either way.

I've been approached by "bikers" saying that they "don't get" the advantage to the Spyder. First of all, there is no advantage, it's just a different type of riding. But, the article is correct in pointing out that on both machines "you’re riding free in the breeze." And, isn't that really the most important thing anyway?

Of course, I must admit I do enjoy the embarrassed looks on their faces when they are walking away and notice my disabled license plate. (Removes foot from mouth) You see, the third wheel is not an advantage . . . but a necessity for me. And I know that I'm not alone in that.

"Even though steering is done with handlebars, it requires some shoulder and arm strength."

What about the strength it takes to set a 2-wheeler upright?

Count me in......

I noticed the failure to mention of how much spyder enables handicap rydersView attachment 117444 like myself ,but is happy to mention 25% of the 25% of buyers are women sounding like a girly bike. Or appealing to a demographic of readers that care. Im a former two wheeler & spyder has been better in every way for me & enables me to still enjoy biking ,while helping family feel safer about me enjoying it. I did like term "Batmobike". Better than "auto cycle"slingshot is.
