There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Bra for 622 trailer

No, I did not get inplants for it, lol.. anyone sell a bra to prevent rock chips? I think the rocks are coming up from my front tires since the sides up to the wheel flairs are really getting chipped after only a few runs with it.

Thanks

Does your trailer have the "rock protector" on the front? When I bought my 2013 RT 622 trailer it did not have one on. Knowing it's standard equipment, I contacted my dealer and he gave me the run around, or so I thought. I contacted BRP and they opened a "case" for me and in a couple of weeks, it was delivered to my door.

If yours is an older trailer, you can buy one from BRP. If I remember right, they cost around $120.00

Line X was my choice...

Hi Randy: I am having the front of my 622 line-X'd....basically where that film is BRP put on...that in my case is not only turning yellow but has cuts/tears .... A person at Sfest had his line-x'd...look sharp and definitely prevents the rock damage...

The BRP mylar shield is expensive and difficult to apply but if it wasn't on there when you bought it the dealer should be liable for that part.

Failing that, a much less expensive and more effective solution to stone chips is to apply spray-on bedliner.

We did both of our trailers with that stuff and it is easy to apply and easy to clean.

In case someone doesn't know what Line X is, its pickup bed liner. I had my van's bumpers sprayed and its make them damn near bulletproof.

I did get the rock gaurds and the black plastic front piece but he chips are beyond that. I like the linex idea, thanks!

MB, did you have it done?

MB,

Did you have your trailer sprayed with Line-X? How's it look? Do you have a pic?

Didn't read all the posts....yep the LINE X works great. Now getting the Alaska dirt out of the grooves took a little extra elbow grease (Simple Green and scrub brush) but it was returned to original look. Nice verrrrry NICE.

Trailer Bras

I have been custom making trailer bras for years and for my money
I would go the line X route. The trailer bra will STOP the rock chips
however the paint under it will go to hell fast, dust and dirt will get under it
between the paint and the backside of the bra and act like sandpaper while
in motion and just grind the paint right off.
There are several companies that do the lineX type of coating and in many colors
just shop around.

Had mine made at local boat canvas shop. Been great for 50K plus miles.

here are some pic's of my trailer after purchase as the Clear bra was yellowing. Also did the rear instead of getting the bump skid. I'm really happy so far & cost less then replacing the BRP stuff

My trailer is so beat up I should Line X the whole thing! The factory film on the front was put on bad from the get go and has always looked crappy.
