Check out this fine Rivco product review by robmorg. I also have the Rivco set up and am pleased, although if you are used to a two-wheeled cruiser highway peg set up there will be some adjustment due to the position that you will be in because of the RT's body work.

 NO!
The rivco brackets come with a star washer that mounts between the base bracket and the curved bracket.
I made metal brackets that fit inside the lower plastic wings ( and attach to the frame )...that stick out in front of your feet...I can now stand on them without them breaking .....( you should not try this )......I use them as foot rests / highway pegs.....Cost " zero " to me anyway...I had the metal and I have a welder ......Mike
Good evening,
I am presently debating between highway pegs or floorboards.
Do you happen to have pictures of the brackets you made.
Thanks

Those look amazingly similar to the ones that I bought from LaMonster. Not sure who copied who's design....
The only thing I don't like about mine is that the arms don't stay put, no matter how much I tighten the bolts. I have to keep re-adjusting them. I'm thinking I might take them apart and add lock washers.
