• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have them on my Spyder I thought they were very expensive for what you're getting but I do like them I don't have to crawl under the bike to check the air pressure in the rear tire which is really convenient.

I've not considered buying because Garmin says they are supposed to go on metal valve stems and I see no need to change them at this point. They are pricey too. The weekly manual tire pressure check is part of my routine and it helps me keep an eye on the belt and rear sprocket for junk.
 
I don't have the Zumo, but I have the FOBOBike TPMS (http://www.fobobikesales.com/index.php). It works off your smartphone, not your GPS. I love it. Easy to install. Seems accurate. Will send a warning to your phone (and into your helmet if you have BT) if the pressure falls below a threshold that you set. Nice not to have to get on the ground every time to check the rear tire. I agree with the periodic belt and sprocket check, but I don't do that every time I jump on, so it's still nice to know the tire pressure every time I ride.
 
Thanks for the response. Did you do any modifications to the tires or valve stems. I've heard something about the centrifugal force of the tire tearing the valve stems?

I did not, I left the original valve stems on. I have about 8000 miles on my new Spyder with the sensors and had no problems.
