• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New owner of a 2015 RT Limited. I want to remove my GPS and was wondering what I can use the existing wire for? LEDs? USB? 12V? Thanks for the help!!

Well that all depends on whether or not you have the factory cradle still installed. The harness for the gps not only powered the gps unit, it also has audio to the factory radio (aux in) and a usb port. Most of those connectors can be found running along the right hand side of the gas tank.

You can use the same wires your Zumo's black & red (12v power) wires plug into for most assys like XM, CB, LEDs, USB adapter, or any other 12v items. Don't use those wires to directly power heated gear due to the current draw needed for heat. It can also be used to drive a relay for direct battery power to run a fuse box or air horn, etc.

The "GPS" plug is keyed power. You can use to power anything. If it is a lower draw item, such as a GPS, you can wire it directly. A higher draw item (lights, etc. can be powered with a relay using the "GPS" power as an ignition-on trigger.
