There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. zero bars on the gage

I ran down to zero bars on the fuel gage and then drove another 10 miles and it looks like I still had close to 1.5 gal. left and at 32mpg towing a trailer that would get me over 200 miles on a tank.:doorag::thumbup:

I think that 200 miles on a tank is achievable, but probably not advisable. Every fill so far was at the 150 - 160 mile range at one bar when gas light came on. Each fill took 4.3 - 4.7 gallons meaning that about 1.5 gallons was left since I doubt that you could actually get 6.6 gallons in the tank unless you put the last 1/2 gallon in with a turkey baster.

WOW....Temperature of 77 degrees and gas at the bargain price of $2.84 a gallon !!!! I wish we had that here in Florida !!

Range is really my only possible concern in looking at getting a Spyder, so 200 miles to a tank is a good thing for me. Coming off a Strom that easily got 250 miles before hitting the reserve, stories of 150-160 miles and need a fill up make me shudder a bit as I commute 100 miles round-trip to work and filling up every day is a PITA.

Yes, I'm lazy. :p

Ok, mostly I don't want to get stuck somewhere on a weekend ride, 'cuz sometimes those small town gas stations just aren't there any more.

You figure all those miles were towing a trailer. I could have got 38mpg without it.:doorag:

Run it down to 0 bars all the time and fill up soon after with similar results. Seems like my mileage is trying to go down below 30mpg since FL went to 10% ethanol. I seem to get the same mileage one or two up. Most of my one up is in town commuting and most of my two up is out enjoying a long ride with few stops. Will finish my hitch and purchase a trailer soon. Got my fingers crossed on what that will do to my mileage. Still running stock air filter, exhaust etc. Ryde Safe and Enjoy:thumbup:

gas light

I've been getting anywhere from 32 to 38 mpg. I have the hi-performance exhaust (may have something to do with it?) and my gas light comes on with one bar left. I have gone 138 miles - the most with mine before fill up. Maybe it's this St. Louis humidity; but I can't see getting close to 200 miles on a tank! I will keep trying....but it's also hard to stay @ 60 mph on the highway....

Let's say you can use at least 6 gal. of the 6.7 that we have.

32mpg- 6 gal. 192 miles
38mpg- 6 gal. 228 miles

I've gone down to no bars a few times, tried it again this morning. When I stopped for gas I had 172.3 miles on the current tank of gas. Pumped 5.4 gallons, which puts me right at 32 mpg's. I've been getting 32 consistently on the Spyder since I bought it.

Ok whats those two little toggle switches for on left side of dash? Just above the handle bars. Inquiring eyes want to know.

Spent 6 hours on country roads yesterday. Went 170.2 miles and had 2 bas left on the gage. I filled up with 4.5 gals @ $3.899 a gallon. So I got right at 38 MGP!! I wasn't so hard on the wrist...kept the RPM's close to 4000 and tried not to go over 4500. That was tough!! But I think I could have easily gotten 200 miles on the tank. I haven't let my spyder go down to zero bars yet....:(
