• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Yuma Spyder Ryde-In January 18-20, 2019

Anything new or updated yet.....? Maybe I'm missing information because I don't do FB

I just got back from a 10-day trip to Arizona to check on a few details, so I'll be posting more info in the next week.

What are you most interested in knowing about?

Riding and food...... Not necessarily in that order.

This is what I get. Try clearing your browser cache and then see what happens. Your browser may be just reloading a previously viewed page. Or, maybe you have restrictions on who can view the page that don't include me!

Do you use Facebook? I thought anyone that used Facebook would be able to access it.

Yes, I do. But one has to know what to look for in order to get there!! This link takes me there, now that I have it! I could have gotten there by a search but I needed to know the group name in order to search for it.

But I'll tell you, I'm not crazy about having to join the group just to see what the info is about the Ryde-In. Once I see what the details are about it I may never again be interested in it. You can set the settings so that anyone can view the events and read the discussions, but have to join in order to post any messages. For example, this one: https://www.facebook.com/groups/100639508856/. I imagine that's what you really want.

U.P. My error, I'm sure. I was looking for a link that would take me to information on the ride-in. Is what you are telling me, is that I just need to follow the information you post here.....? That I can do. Will you be posting the iteniary and ride sign ups here? Or do I need to access something else? Sorry to be difficult and such a distraction. Computer-speak is not my first language..... Jim

No problem. It will be easier for everyone once I get a website up (including for me). Then, FB and SL can function merely as an announcement rather than repository of information, which they both do poorly.

I am working on finalizing a Registration form and I'll post the link here and on FB. Folks who register will receive itinerary and detailed ride info via email; it's just too complicated trying to do it any other way.

My dilemma is whether to devote my limited time to building a website or preparing for the Yuma Ryde-In, which is only 3 weeks away; I've chosen to do the latter. Given what all I have on my plate right now, I'm probably not going to have a website up until after Yuma.
