• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ok, here is my dilemma. I am ready to put in my Spyder Ambassador Application. I have my video completed and ready to upload. Herein lies the problem. The rules state you have to post the video to the CanAM Spyder Channel. I can go to the channel but I do not see how to upload one of my own videos onto their channel. If anyone has any hints, I would truly appreciate it. Thank you in advance.

Maybe do it as a video response?

I didn't see anything like that either Dan. Help me out a little here. I think of myself as relatively computer and internet savvy but I am not find a way to post my video to their Spyder Channel

Deb,

I don't think it's a computer-savvy question. The post that Lamont sent originally links to a BRP page with the following line:

Send your submission, including the essay and link to your YouTube video to [email protected].

The emphasis is mine. This tells me that you would post the video on your YouTube channel, not on theirs. Hope this helps, and I really hope you are selected!

That is what I was thinking too but this sentence is what has me wondering Videos must be posted on the Can-Am Spyder YouTube channel at
http://www.youtube.com/canAmSpyderTeam. I just want to make sure I do it right.

Question answered, You can not upload directly to their channel. You send them your link and they will upload it. This is from BRP.
