Roller coaster time again.

75 today. 90's tomorrow. Next week the 60's will be visiting our area. No rain in sight.

I don't know how many SpyderLovers members will be in the path of Hurricane Milton &/or likely to be impacted over the coming days; but with this monster storm arriving so hot on the heels of Helene & the devastation that one caused, it's not likely to be fun!!

So if you're anywhere near the path or expected damage areas, try to stay safe!

Yesterday's sunshine was great. I was able to get some outdoor projects finished. My leaves are falling and making a big mess for me. Currently we have clear sky and 48°F.

High today of 74°F with lots of sun.
Low at 46°F. Still no rain in our forecast.

The TV News is all about the weather in Florida. Please find a Safe place if you are in 'Milton's Path'.
Praying for you 🙏.

Stay Healthy. ....

Man O Man, Yesterday's TV News showed just how much damage was done by 'Milton'. It looks very bad for everyone who was in the area.
.......Praying for those who lost their homes and more.

We have clear sky and currently 47°F. We have been very dry for two weeks. No rain in my local area for a long time.

Today's numbers are looking good.
High of 81°F with sunshine.
Low at 53°F.

Enjoy your Day and Ryde if you're able.
Stay Healthy. ....

Sunny and hot today in the desert. The high will be 105. There are no clouds. There is a 3-5 MPH breeze. Dusted the convertible off and getting ready to head out to my Friday car show. My lawn chair has a top that provides shade for my noggin. Even so, I don't imagine I will last more than an hour or so in this heat. My trusty big cup of ice water will be with me. Stay safe..... Jim

Weekend Weather 10/12 - 10/13

Today is going to be another great day.
High at 82°F with some clouds.
Low of 62°F. No rain here.

Sunday's high is 72°F and sunny.

Have a Great Weekend and be Healthy.

All is going well for me. ....

10/14/2024

...Well I enjoyed my Weekend. Hope you had a good time. Currently a little cloudy and 46°F. Calling for a 24% chance of a rain shower at 10am. Looks like another miss per the radar.
Time will tell on the shower.

Today's high will be only 57°F. Mostly cloudy sky.
Low at 38°F. .....:gaah:
Like they say, goodbye summer and in with the cold temperatures.
Definitely not in the mood for the cold.

Have a Blessed Day My Friend. ....

It's cooling down here in the desert too. Currently it's 86 and heading for a high of 97 today. The overnight low will be 68 at 7 AM in the morning. There are a (very) few thin clouds. Humidity is 14% and the breeze is 4 MPH. The long range forecast is for continued cooling as a low pressure front moves in from the north. By next weekend, it looks like the highs will only be in the low 70s! I'll believe that when, and if, it actually happens. Stay safe..... Jim

Currently the temp is 37 degrees.

Today we had a chilly, raw, rainy, and EVEN SNOWY day for this Indigenous Peoples Day Monday.

A slow moving upper low air pressure system is going to take its time about leaving us, so it will stay chilly for the next couple of days. There will still be more rain showers, and some more snow showers in the mountains, through mid-week.

Then the low-pressure system will move out and be replaced by a high-pressure system, which will bring fair weather. We are going to see a complete turnaround in the weather by the end of the week, through the weekend, and into next week. Sunshine will return and the temps will jump by a close to 20 degrees from where they are now.

Last week, in our Southern areas of Vermont, one (1) of the ski mountains (Killington) had their first measurable snow of the season.

Did somebody say 'snow'? All I will say is keep it up there. Not ready for the cold spell here in Indiana. Hopefully we will be warmer than the usual. Currently overcast sky and 44°F. We had several small rain showers this morning.

High today of 52°F with some showers.
Low at 37°F.

Enjoy your Day and be Healthy. ....

Here in Vermont, we have one (1) more day of being in this chilly, unsettled weather pattern. There will be more scattered rain showers and mountain snow showers overnight and into the day on Wednesday. The mountaintops could get as much as 2.5" of snow accumulation during this time.

Then the skies will start to clear out late Wednesday as the slow-moving low-pressure system responsible for this clammy weather drifts off to the East and is replaced by high pressure.

Our skies clear, they will stay that way through the end of the week, through the weekend, and into next week. Temps will be on the rebound, getting into the 60's for highs.

Peak foliage has now transitioned into the valley locations.

The current temp is 40 degrees and raining. Feels like temp is 34 degrees.

Also, one (1) other mountain in Vermont has snow near the summits.

55, sunny and blue skies today. Tonight we may have our first freeze. I'm thinking a little early for Arkansas.

Here in Vermont, we will have the coldest night of the season which will bring widespread frost and freeze conditions overnight as skies clear and wind settles down. Then we will have a long stretch of sunny days and increasingly warm temps. High temps will climb back up closer to normal on Thursday and then get well above normal as we go through the weekend and into next week.

The next couple of nights will still be pretty cold, but then even those overnight temps will be coming up to above normal levels.

The fall foliage in the state of Vermont is still at or near peak, but it is now pretty well past peak away from the valley locations.

This afternoon another mountain had snow on it (time to prep the snowmobiles!)

:coffee:....Well yesterday's sunshine was nice.
The numbers were 56°F and 33°F.
Currently I have a full moon this morning and it is 33°F. There is a freeze warning till 9am. I forgot to post up yesterday.
Maybe a little bit of brain freeze.
Oh well, life goes on down the road.

This is the first real freeze for my local weather area. I had a little frost 3 days ago. Anyhow this will make the leaves start the color change. Just got to love it.

High today of 62°F with some sun.
Low at 33°F. Freeze warning tonight.

Have a Blessed Day My Friend. ....

78 and sunny here in the desert. The high today will be 88 degrees. There is a 5 MPH breeze and the humidity is 38%. We are expecting a few rain showers tomorrow morning. They should be gone by noon but the high will only get to the mid-70s. BURRRRRR! I think we have finally seen the last of our excessive summer heat for the season. Just the beginning of perfect riding and convertible weather. Stay safe..... Jim

:coffee:...Well finally Friday. Just enjoying the 'Full Moon' this morning. Currently we are at 36°F. Definitely not a Spyder Ryde Time for me. Maybe later in the afternoon.

High today of 68°F with some sun.
Low at 37°F. No rain in our forecast.

Have a Happy Day. ....

As predicted, we are experiencing rain showers here in the desert. Currently it's 68 degrees, wind at 13-15 MPH, humidity is 78%. This cold, wet front is expected to blow out of here by noon and make way for sunny skies. But the high will only get to 73. We'll stay in the cool 70s through the weekend before getting back to the low 90s next week. Stay safe..... Jim
