• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Cold air headed your way. It’s not supposed to get above freezing until Monday. This after last week near 80. Back up into the 60’s and able ryde again by the end of the week.

Rain and cool today. Headed for a killer frost on haloween night. Weather is saying that the growning season will be officially over then.

Currently it's 78 here in the desert. We're heading for a high of 84 today. The overnight low will be 58. There are no clouds and the wind is light. I'm not someone who follows baseball but I did watch my hometown team in the World Series last evening. Exciting game with a disappointing (for me) ending. Just for giggles I checked out ticket prices for Arizona WS games. Price for the cheapest seat is OVER $600.00. Then the price goes up to over several thousand dollars. That is for one seat for one game!!! And they are sold out. There's a whole crazy world out there that I sure don't understand. Stay safe..... Jim

:coffee:....Well folks the month of October is coming to the end very soon. Here in Indiana we will be seeing the temperatures dropping off quickly. Currently it is overcast and 43°F. Yesterday was a very rainy day and chilly.
There is a freeze warning tonight and a chance of snow showers very soon. I am not ready for this colder weather.

High today only 44°F and cloudy.
Low around 25°F.

Stay Warm and Dry. ....

It cooled down here in the desert. Currently it's 66 and headed for a high of 78 today. It's a bit breezy, 10-15 MPH, but there are no clouds. The overnight low will be 54. Way too cold for us old desert dwellers to play in the swimming pool. I actually put on a long sleeve shirt this morning. But I refuse to wear long pants..... except when riding, of course. Stay safe..... Jim

Sunny south Texas was anything but that today. A front moved through early this morning, dropping our temps into the high 40’s °F by noon, with a NW wind at over 20mph and a light rain all morning. Rode the wife’s F3S home from the dealer after completing the front pulley recall.

Cold for us, but we had just returned home last night from 3 days in Grand Forks, ND. A front blew through there Thursday night as we arrived at the Fargo airport, with rain turning to snow on our 71-mile drive to Grand Forks in the dark. Woke up Friday to a 5-6” accumulation of snow on the ground, and temps Friday and Saturday were in the high 20’s °F. Don’t know how you people deal with that white crap for months on end ...

:chat:...Welcome to the Last Day of October 2023. Here in Indiana we are having some changes in the weather, currently 26°F. There is some talk about some snow showers. There's a freeze warning till 10am today. Tis the season for Indiana snow to make it look a little white and bright.

Now for the rest of the story.
High today only 40°F with some clouds and maybe a little sunshine. Possibly get a few snow flakes.
Low of 26°F. Burr.....that is to cold for me.

Stay Healthy and Be Warm. ....

Hallkoween here in Central Utah is going to be partly cloudy, with high clouds, but cold. Natures warning to get ready for the colder weather ahead. Cynthia has organized a "Trunk or Treat" for our little town for tonight and just in case some of her little nieces and nephews come by later, puffed rice and marshmellow balls.

Here in Vermont the current temp is 35 degrees. This morning we had frost.

There were several slick spots on the roads this morning from leftover moisture from yesterday has frozen and became black ice. Through the rest of the day, mostly sunny skies overhead will warm us up into the upper 30's and lower 40's. For trick time this evening, you will want to some layers on under your costume as temperatures will be in the upper 30's. Tonight, overnight lows will fall in the upper 20's and lower 30's.

Clouds will be back on the increase on Wednesday as a week system comes at us from the west, and another one moves up the east coast. We could see a few light snow showers for some generally across Northern New York but most should stay dry. By Thursday, things will be clearing out again for the most part, and temps will slowly coming back to normal.

This weekend, a frontal system moves in from the west and north. That front will be hanging around, wobbling around, right through the weekend and into the start of next week, with a chance for some showers each day. Temps will climb back into the lower 50's.

Sunny 83 today in Crescent City, Florida. Good day with the Spyder. The Deland, Florida Spyder Event for the Road Warriors Starts Thursday. I'm looking forward to that; Temps will be 75 - 80.

Sunny, 80...... Normal weather for the desert in the winter. This is why us old retirees live here and endure summer heat for a few months. The convertible and trike are both shiny and ready for new adventures for the next several months. Stay safe..... Jim
