Current temp is 66 with forecast high of 75 with thunderstorms possible this afternoon. I'm hoping we get some rain out of it. We went about 3 weeks with no rain her until late last week. We've had some rain the last few days, but could use some more. Tomorrow is forecast to be 80 with very slight chance of rain.

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

...Well folks the weather is supposed to be warmer today, currently we have 57°F. Some rain showers coming this morning and then in the evening. We need more rain to make everything look better. So here's to you if needing some clouds of rain.
Today we are scheduled for rain. How much I don't know. I am hopping for at least an inch of slow gentle rain.
High today of 71°F with clouds. Low of 58°F and some showers.

Hit 98 degrees for a few hours yesterday, with another hot one today. Rain forecast in northern Florida & will slowly move south over the next couple days...

90 degrees at noon here in the desert S.W. We're headed to a high of 97 today. Wind is 3-5 MPH and the humidity is at 14%. There are no clouds. Starting tomorrow, we will see daytime temperatures in the low 100s for the foreseeable future. Overnight lows will be in the low 70s. We are now at the beginning of our annual monsoon season. The desert heat will draw moisture up from the Gulf of Mexico and result in afternoon rains. But, so far, no rain in the forecast. Stay safe..... Jim

...Well folks the month is going by very quickly. Indiana is still waiting for some real rain as we are short about 3" for the month. Currently we have overcast and 55°F. Indiana Farmers are starting to get a little worried about the weather.
No rain in the forecast till Sunday. ....:banghead:
Today's numbers are 77°F with some clouds.
Low at 53°F.
Still need to carefully water my tomatoe plants.
The leaves are turning yellow and looking poorly.
I guess that I lost my green thumb.
Older and wiser sometimes makes for difficult decisions.

Happy Father's Day from the desert S.W. Today's high will be 105 and the overnight low will be 76. Humidity is at 10% and there is a breeze of 5-8 MPH. There are no clouds. This is typical average weather for this time of year. There are a few out of town visitors for the Father's Day weekend. Otherwise, all the Snowbirds have left for cooler climates. I actually enjoy this time of year. Everything, roads, stores, etc. are a lot less crowded. The only thing I miss is riding the 3 wheeler. It's tucked away under cover with the battery tender attached. Stabilizer has been added to the fuel and the tank topped off. I may decide to head north on the trike later this summer. Last August I toured the western U.S. solo and enjoyed (most of) it. Spent nearly a month on the road. I found myself ready to be home 3 days away. Dodged afternoon heat and thunderstorms for the last 800 miles, but that's life on the road. Stay safe..... Jim

Nothing new to report from the desert S.W. It's hot. Highs in the low 100s and overnight lows in the mid-70s. Skys are blue and the breeze is gentle. Bobbing around in the swimming pool with a few other old farts has become a 2 hour ritual almost every day. Stay safe..... Jim

First off yesterday was the first day of Summer 2023. So now we will enjoy the Summer Season in Indiana. No rain here for 5 weeks. Maybe get some late tonight. Currently we have 66°F.

Happy Friday! Every day, to me, seems like Saturday. Been that way for the last 19 years. Thankful that the clock on my nightstand displays the day, otherwise I could get confused. Since retirement I find that I pay more attention to calendars and clocks to keep my sense of awareness.
It's currently 88 degrees here in the desert S.W. Today's high will only get to 97, well below our average of 106 for this date. The overnight low will be 68 and ties the record low for June 24th. The humidity is 5% and there is a 5 MPH breeze. There are no clouds. Our unseasonably cool weather will not last. Starting tomorrow it will heat up. Stay tuned for that report! Stay safe..... Jim
