:spyder:...Well yesterday's sunshine was great. The early morning rain was a good amount. Currently cloudy sky and 72°F. I enjoyed some indoor projects and made some good progress.
Today I will try and cut my grass. It's more weeds than grass at this time of year.

High of 81°F with some sunshine mixed up with clouds.
Low at 55°F. Sure sound great!

Everything is good for now.
Start Healthy and Be Safe. ....

On Monday I reported there were monsoons in the area but that no action made it into the valley. Turns out to not be quite true. News reports indicate there was pretty good rain and wind in the northern part of the valley. The reporters hunt high and low for a downed tree or power pole and show it on TV. These things are usually very isolated. But I guess they have to find something to fill their news time-slot with.

Currently 106 degrees and heading for a high of 112+. Overnight lows remain right at 90 degrees. There are a few clouds in the far distant mountains...... Very typical for this time of year. The breeze is currently light, 5 MPH or less.

Getting ready to do a road trip in my little Mustang convertible. Had the car serviced and checked over last week. Put new wiper blades on yesterday. The old ones looked original and were a pita to remove. I can't believe how expensive wiper blades are these days..... right at 30 bucks a piece. Will be departing early Monday morning. The first two days will be spent in desolate desert driving and avoiding big city traffic. Then, top-down cruising up the Pacific Coast. I have warned relatives and friends that I'm coming. Looking forward to visits. I hope to be gone for at least a month. Taking my tablet to keep in touch and will try to provide some weather reports along the way. Stay safe..... Jim

Here in Vermont we are at the tail end of the wicked weather pattern that has been bringing us torrential rain and severe thunderstorms. All of that bad weather will moving out overnight as a cold front ushers in a batch of refreshing cooler, less humid air from the north.

Once that area of high pressure builds in, it will stick around through the weekend and into the start of next week with a stretch of delightful summer weather. A weak front may kick up a shower or two on Saturday night and into early Sunday, otherwise it will be dry for nearly a week. The next chance for any wet weather will be next Wednesday.

The current temp is 75 degrees Mostly cloudy Feels like temp is 75. Humidity 84 % Dew point 70 degrees.

( Off topic : May be this weekend I'll take a ride on my spyder).

Interesting weather. We had lightning all night long with almost no thunder. About 6:00 AM it began to thunder and we had almost 5 inches of rain very quickly. A high today of 83 degrees.

...I see that we should have a little cooler weather for a few days. Yesterday's rain showers were able to make everything wet and more humidity.
I did get all the grass cut. Hopefully today I will finish with all the trees branches that are down.

Currently we have cloudy sky and 59°F.
The humidity is 83% so it will be a little sticky for me.

Enjoy your Day. ....

Well here in Vermont, it seems like this whole month of July so far has had nothing but heat, humidity, and stormy weather. But now we've actually got a stretch of delightful summer weather that will last right through the weekend and into the start of next week.

Temps will be close to where they ought to be time of the year. Humidity will be comfortable, and skies will be blue and sunny. One small glitch will be a weak cold front that will drop down from the North with a few showers on Saturday night. Some of those showers could linger into early Sunday morning, mainly in the Northern areas.

Then it will clear out again for the rest of Sunday and into the start of next week. Finally, a frontal system will start to catch up to us late Tuesday into Wednesday with showers & possible thunderstorms. Some of those could linger into Thursday.

The current temp is 69 degrees and partly cloudy. It is cool and comfortable. No humidity.

Humidity is 65%, Dew point is 56 degrees

We had a stretch of dry weather over the weekend here in Vermont. We had some rain, and thunderstorms come through last night and on into the day today (Tuesday). Mostly, it has been the garden variety showers and thunderstorms, although there were a few heavier downpours in the Northeast Kingdom (near the Canadian Border) and in Northern New Hampshire.

Wednesday is looking like an active weather day, as stronger, more widespread thunderstorms activity could produce some locally heavy downpours that may lead to some minor flooding problems. Once the sun goes down on Wednesday, the rest of the night will be fairly quiet.

Then there will be one last round of showers and some thunderstorms on Thursday, as a cold front swings through. Once that goes by, it will sweep away the wet, humid weather and bring a return to dry, sunny weather that will start on Friday, and last right through the weekend. It will also be turning hot by the end of the weekend, heading into the start of next week. High temps will be near the 90 degree mark then.

The current temp is 74 degrees and mostly cloudy. Feels like temp is 70 degrees, Wind 2 mph ENE, Humidity 89%, Dew point 66.

I hope to get some riding in this week.

Today (Wednesday) should start out dry, with a mixture of sunshine and clouds overhead, and some pockets of patchy dense fog earlier this morning.

As we head towards the lunchtime, we will introduce the chance of a few showers and thunderstorms. There is an isolated threat that a few storms will on the stronger side, especially across New York's North Country, with gusty winds upwards of 40MPH. We will stand a chance of seeing a few isolated downpours with rain totals upwards of 1-2" possibly where we do see those heavier downpours set up. Tonight, we'll keep a few showers around through the first part of the night as overnight lows fall back into the 60's and 70's.

Overall, Thursday will be drier than the last several days. Southern portions of Vermont have a better chance at getting some sunshine tomorrow afternoon, while the Northern half of Vermont, will get a bit more cloud cover and the chance of a few passing leftover rain showers here and there. Daytime highs for the day will climb back into the upper 70's and 80's for most.

Once again, when we see the last of Thursday's rain, sunny weather will settle into place Friday, and last right through the weekend. It will also be turning hot by the end of the weekend, heading into the start of next week. High temps will be near the 90 degree mark.

The current temp is 79 degrees, feels like temp is 79 degrees, humidity is 64 %, dew point is 66. UV is a moderate #5
