There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Very cold (for down here!) start to the day today. Took an early-morning 44-mile ride today. The 7:50am departure temp was 27°F, wind NNW at 4mph, sunny skies. Not a bad ride. But I may need to invest in some sort of electric gloves for next time.

Yesterday temperatures were up about 6°F.
Come on Spring, I am tired of all this snow and cold. The wind chill is not very friendly.
Currently cloudy sky at 10°F.

Today's high at 18°F with mostly clouds.
Low or 12°F and a possible snow showers.
Time will tell about the snow.

Interesting stuff about the snow on the ground in the southern states. Some areas have never seen snow in the last 50 - 100 years. Must be global warming. Hopefully people will stay Safe.

Till next time.
Be Healthy. (y)

Windy today here in the desert. Wind at 19 MPH with gusts to 34. The high today will be 62 degrees. There are no clouds and the humidity is currently 7%. The desert is very dry this year. Phoenix has not seen any measurable precipitation since last August 22nd. That's 5 months and one day ago! The dry, windy conditions stirs up junk in the air causing lots of us to experience allergy like symptoms...... itchy runny eyes and runny nose. We need a good rainstorm to cleanse the air and settle things down! The forecast is we MIGHT see some rain next week. Hope so. Stay safe..... Jim

A cold start this morning. Currently some clouds and 5°F. We received a lite dusting of snow yesterday afternoon. Just enough to make everything look nice.

Today's high at 21°F with sunshine.
Low of 15°F. Still have about 2" of snow on the ground.
Stay Warm and Enjoy your Time. (y)

About 8 weeks till Spring.

Today's numbers are 32°F and 23°F
with some sunshine.
No Snow in my forecast.

Sunday's high of 29°F with sunshine.
Low at 15°F.
The Weather roller-coaster has returned to Indiana.

Remember to Stay Healthy. (y)

Monday morning reply on my local area weather. Currently we have mostly sunny and clear sky at 26°F.

Today's high at 36°F with sunshine.
Low of 27°F and sunny.

Stay Healthy and Enjoy Life.

Well, here in Vermont there is a whole lot of winter weather action as we go through this last week of January.

We have been dealing with strong and gusty winds ahead of an approaching cold front. That front will swing through overnight and into early Tuesday morning NW to SE. It will be accompanied by snow showers and a brief period of snow squalls, when the snow will be come down hard and heavy with gusty winds that will quickly slicken up the roads and reduce visibility to near zero.

After day break, the snow showers and squalls will taper off and the skies begin clearing. But the temps will be going nowhere, stuck in the lower teens for most of the day. With winds still gusty in the morning, the wind chill could be in the teens below zero. But the wind will be diminishing into the afternoon.

The next clipper system that will bring periods of light snow through out the day begins on Wednesday. There will generally be a dusting to around 2" of snow accumulation. Temps will moderate during the day back into the 20's for highs.

As the clipper system goes by, another shot of REALLY COLD AIR will come in again on blustery NW winds. The wind chill by Thursday morning could be near 20 below zero. The rest of the day will feature some sunshine and diminishing winds (hurry up spring!)

Temps will again rebound on Friday as another disturbance comes through with a few more snow showers. And here we go again - another shot of cold air will come in for the start of the weekend and the month of February!

Temps will again moderate a bit by the end of the weekend and into the start of next week, with a chance of snow showers both on Sunday and Monday.

Also, Groundhog day is on Sunday (I hope the groundhog doesn't see his/her shadow) Right now, it looks like the skies will be mainly cloudy, so the groundhog will not see his/her shadow - which means that spring is near! (I do hope so!)

The current temp is 30 degrees and cloudy. The temp feels like: 19 degrees.

Well yesterday's sunshine melting was a little help on the snow ❄️. They are saying that we will stay in the 40s all week here in Indiana. Yes, I can live with that news. Currently we are at 30°F with some clouds.

High today of 41°F with some sun.
Low 34°F with clouds.
Maybe get some rain 🌧 Thursday or Friday.

Stay Healthy and Have a Blessed Day.
Till Next Time. (y)

I continue to be happy living in my new area of Olympic Peninsula. 25 this morning but warming up to 47 and again sunny so more riding! Muxh better than my home residence of much colder Wyoming

The rain we had last evening here in the desert was not very widespread. In fact, there was no rain measured at the airport, which is where the official statistics come from. So, officially, our drought continues. But last evening I did see enough wet stuff to make the streets shiny from the glow of the street lights. Currently, it's 58 degrees which is the forecast high for the day. The sky is partly cloudy. No more rain expected today. But there is a very good chance we will see some tomorrow. Stay safe... Jim

Tomorrow is the day when anybody that wants to can celebrate New Years Day again. January 29 is the Lunar New Year, and will be celebrated all over the world.

According to the current information, Chinese New Year (also known as Lunar New Year) starts on January 29, 2025 at the International Date Line, marking the beginning of the "Year of the Snake" on the Chinese Zodiac calendar; this date applies regardless of time zone due to the nature of the International Date Line. The International Date Line is a line running north and south at about the center of the Pacific Ocean. The true purpose is to confuse personel working in Military Finance departments when ships and aircraft leave from a point on one side of the date line, and arrive at a point on the other side of the date line, on the day before you left. Don't worry, it all works out, since it will take you twice that long going back the other way. When it is 29 Jan at the International Date Line in approximately the center of the Pacific Ocean, "The Chinese New Year Celebrations" begin, with fire works, parades, street fairs, and all sorts of other loud and brightly colored entertainment.

Now it is the 29th and here is a preview of what is coming for the next 24 hours........
