:coffee:...Good Morning and currently 36°F here in Indiana.
Going to be a beautiful dry and sunny day. Maybe get a little Spyder Ryde Time in today. I will have to check the salt on the roads. Last Friday's snow was a major problem and the road people love to salt. Bless them so much for what they do.

Today's numbers are good at 59°F for the high.
Low at 48°F. A chance of getting some rain showers late tonight. Come on Spring.

Stay Healthy and Be Safe. ....

There's been nothing to report from here in the desert for the past week. It's been typical weather for us. A few clouds but mostly sunny with highs in the high 70s and low 80s. We were supposed to get some overnight showers last night but no evidence of that this morning. Today is mostly cloudy with a high of 76. The forecast says it's supposed to be breezy but that's not happening, at least not yet. There are some showers around us in the mountains but nothing in the valley today. Stay safe..... Jim

The current temp in Vermont is 38°F & cloudy.

We have had some pretty wild temp swings over the last few days, but just wait........... we really have a roller coaster ride ahead of us as we go through this week.

After a chilly weekend, we finally warmed up today, with temps climbing into the 40's and even 50's in our Southernmost counties. Those temps will continue to rise over the next couple of days.

We could tie or break high temperature records on Tuesday & Wednesday. Temps will be in the 50's just about everywhere on Tuesday and there will be lots of sunshine for most of the day (there goes the snowmobile season!) It will be breezy as winds pick up out of the South. It will feel like SPRING!!!!!!!!

Those South winds will really start to howl Tuesday night into Wednesday, as a sharp cold front approaches from the West. That frontal system will be sending rain showers here starting late Tuesday. The showers will be on & off through Tuesday night and the first part of Wednesday.

As the front approaches late afternoon on Wednesday, the rain shower activity will increase. There could even be a few thunderstorms. As the cold front blasts through Wednesday evening, the winds will shift sharply to the NNW. Temps will drop like a ROCK!!!! Rain showers will change to snow showers, but the snow shower activity won't last long before it starts clearing out Wednesday night into Thursday morning. But a coating of snow combined with a QUICK freeze of any standing water from the rain will make some slick spots on the roads Thursday morning.

Temps will drop by about 40 degrees from Wednesday afternoon to Thursday morning, and due to the wind chill, those "feel like" temps, will be sub-zero by Thursday morning. The rest of Thursday will feature sunshine, but it will be a cold & blustery day (a good day to go riding the snowmobile).

Then we go in the other direction again as we transition into the month of March on Friday and into the first weekend of the new month. Temps will come back up into the 40's and 50's for highs.

Yes, I enjoyed my Spyder Ryde Time. Life is good!

High today of 67°F with lots of sunshine.
Low of 41°F. There is a chance of getting some rain late tonight.

Enjoy your Day and Ryde if you're able. ....

mid 80's today and partly cloudy. We are going to enjoy it. More leaves popping out and going green. Next three days predicted in the 40's. A roller coaster spring for sure.

Wednesday 2/28/24

:coffee:...I woke up this morning with it raining and thundering. Currently cloudy skies and 33°F.
Looks like we are going to have a major temperature drop.
Yesterday was another fine day, but moving forward Indiana is in for a cold spell.

Today's high only 36°F with lots of clouds and winds.
Low of 28°F.
Come on Spring. ....:spyder:

Stay in the Game. ....

Here in Vermont, we are having a MAJOR warm-up (except for this Thurs.& Fri.) and it will be in the 50's & 60's during the next week ..... Sno-mobile-ing (which was already terrible) will be OVER .... It would take 3 or 4 MEGA storms to bring it back .... and they are not in anyone's forecast ..... Mike

:coffee:...Well yesterday's cold wave was just plain terrible. It was a wind chill of 12°F most of the day.
Make the big mistake of getting some gas in the afternoon and then shopping for food. Will not be doing that again anytime soon. Currently we have overcast sky and 24°F.

High today of 44°F with some sun.
Low at 28°F with clouds.

So definitely no Spyder Ryde Time for me.
Stay Safe and Be Healthy. ....

Oh Yeah, Today is 'Leap Day'. ....

Happy Leap Day from the desert. Currently 72 and heading for a high of 75 today. The breeze is light at 3-5 MPH. Skies are mostly blue with a few white puffy clouds floating around. The overnight low will be 51 degrees. Lots of social activities happening. Most involve a meal of some kind. It's always great to get together and enjoy the company of some old and some new friends. And, in between meals, we also enjoy riding, swimming, golf, hiking, pickle ball, etc. Stay safe and see y'all next month..... Jim

.

Happy Leap Day from the Sierra Nevada mountains. Yes, it's snowing at my home at 5,700 ft. Big winds and Big snowfall (measured in feet) just, a few thousand feet above us.

Lew L

40's the next two days. And....it feels cold out. The air has a very cold edge to it.

Sat & Sun supposed to be back in the 70's.

Roller coaster time continues.
