Your Weather News @ FEBRUARY 2026 Edition

Hello and Good Morning to everyone. Well I made it
to February 1st 2026. Hope you are doing well and
staying Healthy. Looking outside I am able to see the
early version of the 'Snow Moon'. It is going to be the
real deal tonight around 5:09pm est. Just wanted to
let you know.

February Weather is going to be about the same as
January here in Indiana. Currently cloudy sky and-1°F.
That's the 'bone cold' temperatures of the season.
TV news has said that Indiana has a cold spell this
morning till 11am. Be careful when outdoors.

The wife and I will just stay put and enjoy the Time.
We will 'live stream' our Church service today.
I hope you can too.

Today's numbers are 23°F and 10°F.

We're getting a few days of respite from the heat here in South Oz, mid 30's °C for highs for a couple of days instead of the very high 40's we had last week. I lost about half of my 'looking pretty good' Apricot crop to the heat last week - the ripest of the 'not quite ripe/ready for picking yet' fruit just cooked on the trees, turning the fruit itself to mush, and all the sugars in the fruit caramelised and burnt; while the half of the crop that was even less ripe, but which I hadta pick anyway before it too cooked on the trees, was only good for stewing and jam. Still, at least I got some fruit crop this year instead of losing almost all of it to marauding birds - but that was only cos it wasn't quite ripe enough yet, so the birds hadn't even tried attacking the fruit thru the bird netting; meaning that once I realised the fruit was cooking on the trees, anything that was even remotely pickable and not yet burnt mush ended up as either stewed/preserved fruit or jam!! (I tested, and both are pretty good, albeit with a little more of a tart caramelised sugar taste than I'd normally prefer. )

But this week looks like it's going to be much more bearable - no rain, and no mid/high 40's forecast for the week, altho it does look like the temps and the likelihood of rain will increase next week, just in time for all the kids to finish their School Holidays and head back to School.

Could it be possible that the percentage of people who believe in global warming might be slowly shrinking.
