• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

In Salem, OR which is about 55 miles inland from the Pacific Coast. Currently: 84 degrees, sunny, humidity at 37%, 3 MPH breeze. The high will get to 86 today. That's almost 25 degrees warmer than the coast. Lots and lots of holiday traffic heading for the ocean today. Glad to be away from the crowds but already missing the cool sea breeze. Stay safe..... Jim

In Baker City, OR. Just about smack dab in the middle of Oregon. High today was 88 degrees. Humidity currently 37% and there is a 5 MPH breeze. Today's drive was just shy of 400 miles on secondary roads, over 3 mountain passes (5,000 Ft+) and heavily wooded tall fir and pine trees. Beautiful but slow going. Traffic was almost non-existent..... Pretty much had the road to myself. Stay safe..... Jim
