Amazingly I survived the last month and now I am ready for August 2025. You know it's August here in Indiana, because it's 'State Fair Days'. I just found out that the 'Special Fair Shake,' is Key Lime Pie. Sounds good to me. My wife makes a good Key Lime so I am ready for the 'Shake'. The wife would like to know if anyone else has enjoyed a 'Key Lime Pie'?

So now, on with my local area weather news. Currently mostly clear sky at 59°F. Humidity is 79% so you feel wet real quick. Part of that 'Corn Sweating' thing that we have in good ole Indiana.

High today only 77° with some sunshine.
Low of 59°F with 15% chance of evening rain showers.

Big difference from the last couple weeks here in Wisconsin, its only 53° right now,supposed get to the high 70s for the next week or so, its so much better then the 90° have an awesome day everybody, stay healthy, ride safe,

Happy August! Currently in Anacortes, WA; 60 degrees, mostly sunny, 9 MPH sea breeze, 83% humidity. The expected high today is 70 degrees with an overnight low of 53. Today is the beginning of an annual weekend Art's Festival here in Anacortes. About 10 blocks of the main downtown street are closed and crammed full of booths and people showing/selling their art works. Gotta love small town America!!! (And, yes, I also love Key Lime Pie) Stay safe..... Jim

Well first off, how many of you Spyder Forum Members have experienced a piece of KeyLime Pie?
My wife loves to do survey questions.

Currently working on a cloudy sky at 54°F. I would had my window open but the pollen is to high. Old age is creeping up on me.

Just in case you are interested, Indiana State Fair Days are happening. This is Band Day. Also the Fair Shake is the KeyLime. Most of the Fair information is on-line so check it out.

Now for my local area weather news from Indiana. Yesterday was a beautiful sunshine day. Gotta Love it.
High today of only 77°F with some sun.
Low at 53°F and cloudy evening sky.

Sunday's high is 81°F with sunshine. Low at 60°F. No rain here for the weekend.

I have experienced Key Lime Pie in Key West, Florida.

And several other places, too, but having a slice in it's "home town" has to count for something.

Several years ago a buddy and I toured Florida and Arizona looking for places to retire. (He chose FL and I chose AZ). Key lime pie was at the top of our list when in Key West. Been one of my favorites ever since.....

This morning in Anacortes it is cloudy, 63 degrees, breeze of 10 MPH, and humidity of 75%. The marine cloud cover is expected to burn off later this afternoon. It'll become mostly sunny with a high of 68 degrees. Stay safe..... Jim

Mostly cloudy here in Anacortes. The sun is trying real hard to burn off the stubborn marine clouds. But, today, like the last few, it's a slow process. Currently; 62 degrees, wind of 5 MPH with gusts to 9, humidity at 78%. The high today will be 68 and the overnight low will be 55. No rain today but it looks like Wednesday will be a total wash-out. More about that later. I will be moving out of my little cottage on Wednesday and moving to Mount Vernon, WA for a couple of weeks. A move that will take me about 17 miles inland. Stay safe..... Calling for some rain showers this afternoon. It's getting a little dry, so some rain would be welcomed. Currently cloudy sky at 65°F. Seems like we may have an early Fall. I would love it.

We had a downpour yesterday evening for much needed rain. It's usually a hit or miss around us.

Today is supposed to get a high of 87, currently 67 and no chance of rain.

Good morning from Mount Vernon, WA. Yesterday all of Western Washington was wet and soggy. There was a continual mist in between rain showers. Today begins the drying process. Currently overcast and 60 degrees. Wind is calm and the humidity is 83%. The high today will be 70 with afternoon sunbreaks. Overnight low will be 52. We will be in the low 80s this weekend. Looking forward to sunshine again. One day of wet weather is enough for me! Stay safe..... Jim

Sounds like a good place to be when the temperature gets above 85°F.
Just to far away from my family and friends.

Yesterday's sunshine was great but still to hot for me. It was 90°F with lots of humidity Currently cloudy sky at 69°F. Going to be another hot day here. I just limit the time outdoors and it's good to go. I love the AC, but I don't enjoy the high electric bills.

Currently in Mount Vernon, WA: 64 degrees, 4 MPH breeze, Humidity of 70% and no clouds in sight. The high today will be a very pleasant 75. This morning I'll wipe down Old Blue Pony to remove all the remnants of Wednesday's rain. Then it's off for some top-down sight seeing. Stay safe..... Jim

Oh Man,Yesterday's sunshine was great but still too hot for me.
Anyhow, welcome to the WEEKEND.
Currently clear sky at 71°F and a very beautiful moon. Tonight we will have the 'Full Moon' for the month of August.

Today's sunshine will be 91°F.
Low at 69°F with some clouds.
Hopefully not enough to make viewing the Full Moon an issue here in Indiana.

Sunday's high is 89°F with sunshine .
Low at 68°F. Good sleeping temperature for me. But the humidity is still high at 90%.

No Spyder Ryde Times this weekend for me. I am dealing with a little sinus infection. It is really hard this time of the year.

Good Monday morning from beautiful Mount Vernon, WA. Currently, we are experiencing a heat wave (for this area). It is 75 degrees and headed for a high of 85. There is a 6 MPH breeze and humidity is 69%. The room I have here does not have AC! 95% of the time it's not needed, but it would be nice now. Fortunately, I have screened windows in front and back, so I can get some air moving through. It took until almost midnight last night to get my room cool enough for comfortable sleep. I expect the same tonight. Stay safe... Jim
