We missed the bad tornadic weather yesterday. It passed to our South and is now North East.

Today a very cool 60 degrees. The chill feels like what we used to experience in Alaska in September. Tomorrow, 70's, then 80's for Saturday and Sunday.

:chat:...Well folks it was a very rainy day here in Indiana. Currently cloudy and 49°F.
Just a very busy day and lots of things to finish.

The numbers are 57°F for the high.
Low of 45°F.

Here in Vermont it was cloudy & had rain showers. Temps were in the 60's. Some places reached the 70 degree mark:yes:


They are forecasting the temps in the 60's.

With temps in the mid 70’s today we got in a 120+ mile ride from Belle Fourche through Spearfish Canyon back through Deadwood and Spearfish then back home. I was sore by the time we got home. Time to work off the “Winter butt” as my son calls it. Still It was a good day to ride.

Weekend Weather 4/13 - 4/14/24

... I am hoping for a little sunshine this weekend, currently 43°F. This past week has been somewhat difficult with all the rain.
We are still dealing with Flooding issues along the rivers here in Indiana. Some Farmers were wanting to get out there and do some field work.
It is extremely wet and looks like this activity is not going to happen for a while here. I am behind on my grass cutting, the yard is still wet
and I don't enjoy getting stuck in the 'mud'. Well, you know what I mean.

Today's numbers are looking good.
High of 67°F with some sunshine.
Low at 55°F. No rain in the forecast.

Sunday's high is 79°F with some sun.
Low at 54°F.

Going to get out there and enjoy some Spyder Ryde Times.
I hope you get some Ryde Time.

Today it will get close to 90 degrees here in the desert. Blue skies, no clouds and a little breezy. Had to crank up the air conditioner last evening to cool the house down to a comfortable sleeping temperature. It takes 2 or 3 consecutive days of hot weather for the house to absorb the heat and require cooling to bring temperatures down. Just the start of things to come! Stay safe..... Jim

Monday 4/15/24

:yes:...Well yesterday was a very nice sunny day. The temperature was 82°F with lots of blue sky. Yes, I enjoyed my Spyder Ryde Time. Just saying, if you know what I mean. Currently clear and 60°F this morning. I feel the need to get out there and enjoy some early morning Spyder Time. Ryde when you can and be Safe.

Today it's going to be sunny and 77°F.
Low of 55°F. Enjoy your Day.

Tuesday 4/16/24

:chat:...Well folks the rains are coming back tonight. Currently I have overcast sky and 80°F. Just a very nice day.
Did a little bit of yard work this morning. The morning temperature was 62°F at 6am. No rain this morning.

High today of 82°F with sunshine.
Low of 65°F with some rain.

The high today here in the desert will be 85. Overnight low of 58. Clear blue skies and breeze of 5 MPH or less. Today is the last "cool" day. For the next 10 days we will have highs in the low 90s and nighttime lows in the mid 60s. Very typical weather for this time of year. I would be more than pleased if we could have this kind of weather for the entire summer! But, that ain't happening. Before long we'll be in triple digits with nighttime lows in the 80s and 90s. The Snowbirds, especially Canadians, are starting to fly back north. Seeing noticeably fewer people on the roads and in the supermarkets. Glad to have a little more elbow room! Stay safe..... Jim

Wednesday 4/17/24

:chat:...Well last night and early this morning rains were not very friendly. I got over 2" of rain. No water problems for me but people near the river are not very happy. Several Flood Warnings have been Posted. Stay Safe when dealing with Flood Zones. Currently we have overcast sky and 64°F.
Yes, there's a lot of standing water in my backyard.

The high for today only 77°F with some rain showers coming in the afternoon.
Low at 54°F. Should be clear sky this evening.

Stay Healthy and Enjoy Life. ....:thumbup:

The Lake is Full and then some. Now for the water temperature to get warm and be able to get out there. I have enjoyed Lake time too.

Thursday 4/18/24

....Welcome back from chilly Indiana, currently 50°F. Going to be another roller coaster ride with the temperatures. Most of yesterday rain puddles have disappeared. The wife said that I might have a chance of cutting some grass today. ....make me feel good. All I can say is sounds like a fun day.

High today of 77° with some sunshine.
Low at 47°F. No rain here.

First off, Welcome to the WEEKEND and news from Indiana. Currently cloudy sky and 43°F. No rain in the forecast for today. Just a little chilly for me. I will try and finish up the lawn today.

Today's numbers are 50°F with sunshine.
Low at 35°F.

Sunday's high at 56°F with some clouds.
Low at 36°F. No rain here.

Get out there and enjoy some Spyder Ryde Times.
Spend some time with the family and friends.

....The weekend Weather was doable. Currently we have clear sky and 35°F.
No rain in the forecast for today. All the Flooding issues are done for now. Most people were careful about driving through water, so that is good.

Today's high is 64°F with sunshine.
Low at 48°F.

It got hot here in the desert. 102 at my house yesterday and 100 today. It'll cool a little as the week progresses but summer heat is coming way too fast. Still enjoying cruising in the convertible but that will be unbearable pretty soon. Planning on doing a road trip out of the desert heat in a couple of months. Meanwhile, enjoying a lot of pool time. :spyder:....Good Morning to you and Welcome to my local area weather news. Currently we have overcast sky and 50°F. Calling for some rain showers this afternoon, just part of the weekly routine here. Something like Spring Rain is good for the May Flowers. We already have a good start on our May Flowers. ....:shemademe_smilie:

Numbers for today are 62°F and 41°F. A mostly cloudy day and some rain showers.

Maybe get a little Spyder Ryde Time in today.

The Full Moon is still shining here.
Yesterday's rain was just what we needed. Helps keep the yard looking good.

Another group of "cooler" days. Low 70's. I guess that I am finally getting acclimated to the Southern Midwest. These days 70 feels cool. I am even liking those lower 80's as my favorite temperature.

We have two days of severe storms coming to our area in the next week.

It seems like more tornados and earlier than usual this year. :bowdown:

Thursday 4/25/24

...Yesterday was a beautiful day with sunshine but to chilly for a Spyder Ryde. I have not been a fan of cold weather for a while. I have tried to adjust a little bit, but 'cold to the body' is just over the top. Currently we have overcast sky and 37°F.

Today is going to be about the same as yesterday.
High will be 58°F with some sun.
Low at 39°F. No rain here.
