This morning's ride in the Adelaide Hills was under looming dark clouds and just a bit chilly, what with a temp of about 13°C and some rain too, altho there was more of that '
not quite raining yet, & not quite fog' stuff around - you know, when you can pretty much see and feel the wet droplets hanging in the air, but they're not small enough and there's not enough of them for it to be called 'foggy', but it's not really raining yet either, altho it did make for a nice droplet pattern on the windscreen at about 80 kph!
We took most of our almost an hour's ride heading out to get properly wet, then stopped and had a coffee to warm up a bit before riding back home and getting juust a tiny bit 'less wet' heading that way than we did heading out, altho it still felt a little chilly! Home now, had lunch, all warm and dry, and probably won't go out again today... Lazy, aren't I!
I reckon the temp has peaked for today at 14°C, and our local BoM says that while we probably won't get any more rain today/tonight, we should expect a bit more light stuff over the coming week, with overnight low temps dropping into the mid single digits (in °C) and daytime highs that sneak up a bit closer to 20°C. Not
ideal riding weather, but certainly not awful! Mind you, any day you can do
some riding has gotta make for a better day than any day you can't ride at all, doesn't it?!
Hope you're enjoying the weather (and riding) in your part of the World!
