My wife started training me 40 years ago to put that seat down. Fortunately, we have separate bathrooms, but I still put the seat down in mine. All of you ladies out there, training does work. Just depends on how recalcitrant your man is. For me, given the rewards, it didn't take long. (Well, maybe longer than I would admit).

Nope, my wife and I have separate bathrooms.

Truth is, I have always put the seat down, every since my daughter fell in when she was 2.
