• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How is the bass and volume through these ???

I am / was pleased with them. I now have some blue tooth thingies. Let me see if I can find a "new" or "unused" set of plastic ear-thingies for them and I can just mail em to ya.

Then you can decide for yourself.

I have the ZAGG Smartbuds.
http://www.zagg.com/audio/smart-buds.php Love them at the gym,
I also have a cheap set of Skullcandy in my gym bag (got them for $10 at Cycle Gear with a purchase), just in case I forget to grab the ZAGG buds.

When I ride I have a Scala Rider G4 pairs to my iPhone, and I can communicate with my wife, listen to music, answer phone calls etc etc.

So you replaced the speakers that came with you G4. I was thinking of doing this but wasn't sure if I should do this.

Randy just get on your roadster head over to walmart and pick up the ear buds they are called MARSHMELLOWS they are made by jvc for like $20.00 you squeeze them then put them in your ear then they form to your ear. So now you can listen to wang chung and still do your burn outs.

I searched reviews for the JVC Marshmellow and they are very well rated so of to Walmart I go!! Let ya know.

NO, I use the existing G4 speakers. I know several people that like earbuds instead, but I am fine with the speakers, after a few hours of wearing ear buds I get a sore ears and a headache. :(

G4 stock speakers and ear buds!

I had my G4 moded to accept ear buds. I really like it. The sound quality is alot better than the stock speakers on the G4. I had the person doing it add a male jack to the current speakers so I can go back and forth if I want to.

The JVC Marshmellow Earbuds are NOW my favorite- I think the Marshmellow Foam cushions push them over the top of My Titans, Wicked and Ink,d.

How is the Bass ???

Great- For 60,s Rock and Concert Band Music the sound is Full throughout, Of Course your Graphic Equalizer setting may Vary?:roflblack:
$15 at walmart and the extra 2 foam tips will make another set of earbuds sound better!

I used the skullcandy full metal jacket earbuds for a while. They were pretty awesome, low and mid range was pretty good, but not say UE good. But recently and thankfully i got the plugs out of my ears and started using this GSI in helmet speakers. They work and don't really drown to far out at high speeds, but sound wise there not even close to a pair of ear buds. Bass barely exists but the mid range is perfect

I've been using noise cancelling earbuds for awhile now and they work pretty darn well.. and sound pretty good.

http://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technic...344&sr=1-3&keywords=noise+cancelling+ear+buds

They can be had for around $40. They are not without problems.... mainly the in-line control box is at an uncomfortable position.. needs to be further up on the cable-- or further down to clip onto something that makes sense.

They take an AAA battery and have a volume control. The noise cancelling works great... pretty much just like a pair of Bose headphones--- but in earbud format.

I love the SkullCandy Ink'd, but they keep falling out under my helmet. How is everyone keeping them in place? I've been using my Sena SMH10s with the standard headsets and ear plugs. Thought I would give the SkullCandy's a try, before getting the earbud kit, but no dice. There must be a trick...
