• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

You can tell it's Spring because...

Took the first ryde of spring today!

Was a quick one... only 20 miles, but still counts!

Can't wait for warmer days!

Yup. Dunno if the Yoopers will get this storm, but we have a watch from tonight to tomorrow night, calling for snow, sleet, freezing rain, rain, and ice developing from 1/4 to 1". Can't wait. :roflblack: By the way, what's the difference between sleet and freezing rain? :dontknow: At least we got out for a nice ride to the Artesian Wells Saturday afternoon.

Sleet is rain mixed with snow, or ice pellets...in other words it is partially or wholly frozen as it falls. Freezing rain freezes on contact. Both are very unpleasant afflictions! nojoke

I am worried that the forecast is changing so rapidly, and is being pushed further and further south. We were not affected when I went to bed last night, but are included in the watch this morning. Can being included in the warning be far behind? I haven't even cleaned up all the fallen limbs from the last ice storm. Bah, humbug!

Yep!!! The forecast calls for -30 Celcius by tomorow morning here in Northern Ontario. That would be -??? in Farenheit. (Sorry, I forgot the formula...) Spring has sprung alright!!! :cus:

Hey there Fastfraser! I think for sure that you people down south of us have had much more snow than us in the past couple of years. "Global Warming"???

Ah well!! My "White Steed" is not here yet anyways. I guess this makes waiting for it not as nerve racking!
