• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Yellow helmet

I have a 2017 F3-T, color red or maroon, anybody use a yellow helmet with this color???
Which is it - red or maroon?

I don't think your head or the bike care what color the helmet is as long as you use it!

Maybe if the yellow helmet is old it's time to replace it anyway...

Can't really answer this question without knowing the color of your other riding gear.

You could always get Sue Hopper to paint the helmet or the bike or both to bring the colors together into some kind of motif.

With all the spring pollen aren't they both yellow?:lecturef_smilie: Mine were black till bout 2weeks ago:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::chill:

I have four yellow helmets. I bought them for visibility.

Have used them on all my bikes which are currently black/green, yellow, and silver.

Currently, the favorites are white colored ones.

Early on, I used the color coordination as an excuse to buy additional gear. Now that I have two six foot racks of m/c riding gear--Color coordination is no longer an issue for me.

I can dress coordinated, leather, or what the heck.

Talking color combos

If it is only if they go together without making a wardrobe fau pax....Maroon and yellow accent each other nicely. Had several planes (U-control) painted with those colors :clap:

The yellow is a Can Am and very good price. Otherwise I was thinking white, and I wanted it bright so people might see me a little better...

not that it matters if it's red or maroon,
but the color is "Intense Red Pearl" according to Can Am
and only the fashion poiice care what color your gear is, to real people, it doesn't matter

I wear the Hi-Viz yellow helmet with a hi-viz yellow jacket and my Spyder is the blue metallic with red trim. Do the colors go together? I think they look fine but if others don't, why would I care? I'd rather be seen in hi-viz yellow on the road than in a dark suit in a casket. Anyway I don't see myself on the bike except in the mirrors and then all I see is this really safe-looking handsome guy. LOL
