• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Yamaha Raider owner thinking about converting Need some help!!

So the dealer pretty much straight up insulted me with a trade in offer on my Raider of 5g's and is not budging at all on his 15k price for the left over RSS that wouldnt start when i asked to take it for a test ride.

This unfortunetly has slightly veered my interest towards other bikes alittle more. but i am still considering them. only not from this dealer

This doesnt include

power commander, ecu flash, avon grips, agm battery, integrated blaster x taillight, side mount plate, cobra backrest, hid headlight
4k miles new tires just inspected ready to go kept in MINT and i mean MINT

To by the accessories alone would run you 2300 or more

They almost never pay anything for accessories. If they aren't factory options, most dealers don't even want them on the bike. As a buyer, I'd feel a hell of a lot better not knowing it had power commander on it ever.

+1

Take your accessories off and sell them if your gonna trade it in, otherwise you may be better to try and sell it out right. The link you put up is retail and not seeing your bike there trade price they gave you may be valid considering they are discounting the new bike down. If in there eyes a power commander could show the bike being rode hard that will affect what they offer. A dealer has to resell it and need to warrant it even if it is only 30 days.

Sorry I know may not be what you wanna hear but I work at a new car dealer and see things like this a lot with cars and trucks. Person brings in a couple year old truck with a $5000 lift kit and tires, the dealer if they try and resell it instead of sending to a auction, the dealer now responsible for how it was installed and what happens to it for a warranted period.
