• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Y pipe gasket replacement

Hi all. Does anyone lnow of an online source for these gaskets? The nearest Honda dealer to me is about 25 miles each way. They never have stuff in stock, and I have to pay in advance and then go back when the stuff comes in. I would rather get them online if I can.

There are several, although I have never used any of them. Google "honda motorcycle parts" and you should get a lot of leads.

You might be better off picking them up at a Honda dealer [14 dollars a pair] your self.
Those gaskets damage Fairly easy, this way you can examine them at the parts counter. My dealer had a few that were delivered to him damaged[crushed]

Honda Gasket

Just picked one of the Honda gaskets up last week and it cost me less than five dollars including tax. It is a much better gasket than the stock one. Managed to install it by loosening the cannister bolt and both Y-pipe clamps and pivoting it all down. Just be careful when you do this because you may put the oxygen sensor wires in a bind.

Replaced mine Friday night... got a decent ride in today.. WOW... big difference on my Spyder. Quieter... and NO more backfires.

My right gasket was toast, left was good--- but replace both anyway. Took about 1/2 hour... left Hindle in place... just loosen clamps, tilt down... swap them, push back up in place and tighten em up!
