• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Y! pipe gasket replaced - what a difference

A quick test ride by a Cowtown tech, and I'm told that the "Y" gasket is leaking. A short hour later, and the RS is both quieter and smoother. Seems to me that the thing has been that way since I picked it up last July with only 683 miles on it! I had suspected that my byke was louder, mechanically than others, but had no experience with other Spyders, until today. Just shows what can be learned by just talking with the right people. There's a BIG difference in BRP dealerships, people. Been well worth ducking tornados just to be here and meet the folks at C T.:2thumbs:nojoke

Honda does work a lot better...had mine changed out before the originals were fried...amazing how damaged they were...not much life ('live' for you Wyliec ) left on them...

This is a good change to make...

I wonder if they used the Honda Gaskets as they are thicker and will last a lot longer than BRPs.:dontknow:
Dealers can only use OEM parts for replacements under warrenty. Otherwise they cannot get reimbursed from BRP. You gotta spend your own dime to have the Honda ones put in.
