There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Y gasket replacement

Questions

:spyder:Checked my Y gaskets today, 10K on Spyder. rear gasket totally gone, front approx 50% gone. Rear probably gone first as shorter header pipe thus more heat. front has time to cool a bit before it gets to the gasket. Anyway had purchased the Honda GL1500 gaskets and fit was perfect. Only took 45 min, not bad working on the garage floor in Arkansas Summer heat. Exhaust note is quiter, wondering if heat will decrease a bit. Pretty easy fix for anyone wanting to do it themselves.

I'm on my second set of stock y gaskets. I hope to order in the Honda ones for the next time the stock ones wear out.

Good stuff and glad to hear the fit was good!
Thanks for sharing.

Replaced my Y gaskets today also with the Honda ones, in the Alabama heat on graveled car port. Mine were still there but the left pipe was very lose, just fell off after undoing the clamp on the right side. :spyder2: does seem to be quieter. Also replaced my belt that I got a rock in last week. Was not such a big job, very simple really. Added the spyderpops missing belt guard, looks like it will prevent this from happening again. Ever one should get one. Or don't do what I did, ride on a road that has been freshly tared and graveled. :spyder2: is on the road again. :ohyea:

Glad to hear you are back on the road again. Around here they love to tar and gravel the roads without any warning at all. The belt guard from Harvey may need to be moved up on my list of mods as well.
