XM Radio

I am going from a 2005 Gold Wing to the RT 2014 and I want to transfer my XM system over to the RT. Is that possible?

This just plugged in with the Gold Wing wiring and not sure about the RT. Have not purchased the RT yet but soon and trying to get my ducks in a row

I've got an Onyx, and I have it plugged into the BRP system... it works pretty darn well! :thumbup:
Use the power plug in the top trunk, and get the MP-3 cable... (it hokks into the XM init where the headphones or earbuds would)
Then; plug that into the Sound system plug in the trunk...
Plug in an antenna system, and you're good to go! :clap:

So with that setup you have to switch plugs between the 30 pin and the 3.5mm jack adapter in the trunk when you want to listen to iPod or satellite radio then?

Also using any other XM radio system other than BRP's wont allow you to control stations etc on the cluster.
