• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

WWII Veterans get to see the Memorial!

I feel a ryde to the Vietnam Memorial coming on . . . I never visited it, the whole 21 years I worked in DC, because the time I did in '88 was too painful . . . but perhaps it is time, again, to visit my brothers and sisters-in-arms . . .

:lecturef_smilie:After you stormed the beaches of Normandy, no barrier was going to stop them! :2thumbs::clap::clap:

My Dad went on an Honor Flight about three years ago, shortly before he died. If he had gotten up there and been turned away and then died without seeing the memorial, I'd have been highly PO'd. Cudos to these very honorable men for doing what was right in their case. For them to have been turned away, would have been a slap in the face of those that gave the dolts in Congress the right to bicker over nothing and cause this mess in the first place. Anyway, glad these old warriors got to visit the memorial that was built in their honor.

Arrested!
