My wife and I just returned from our yearly ryde to Spokane for the Combat Vet. Riders annual ryde. We had a great time and got to see our good friends from up there. But sometimes it is best to let the wife lead. I took a wrong turn that turned into a 120 mile out of the way journey on the way there. The bad part is that after the last fillup in Las vegas to the next gas station on the wrong turn, it is 175 miles. After 135 miles, the little light comes on and lets you know you are low on fuel. As I had let my wife run out of gas on her Honda, she kinda started to get worried. We have scalas so she asked where were we going to get gas. I like a dumba**, I said at the next gas station. Needless to say she wasnt amused. Her next question was, and that would be? I said Um up the road. Again she wasnt amused. At 155 miles she asked again, where are going to get gas? She said she thought she may be running out. As she rydes an SM and I an SE, I told her I would run out before she does, as she gets better milage than I do. I dont think that pasified her as she then said you didnt answer my question. So I told her the next station was over that next hill and around the corner. Then I turned my scala off. Anyway, we made it to the gas station. Mine took 5.9 and hers took 5.6. She didnt speak to me as we filled up. I tried to explain that the radio must have shut down so I couldnt hear her anymore. All she did was glare. The glare knife is very sharp so I shutup. As we got back on our :spyder2:, she said follow me and dont talk. So i was quiet until she got over her mad. She led to the next station which was 60 miles down the road. We filled up and she said see how easy it is to find a gas station. All in all, not a bad trip. Just dont take a wrong turn. Ryde safe.
