• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

WOW!!!

It was a criminal thing...
He had a lifted Blazer with Huge tires that stuck way out beyond the fender flares... :lecturef_smilie: That's a big no-no :lecturef_smilie:

Same gos for open wheels, Illegal on public roads even if it didn't throw a foreign object...

Got a reality check about an hour ago; a car about 10 carlengths in front of me threw a stone about the size of a golfball up, and it hit my faceshield hard enough to snap my head back and my ears ring. Seems I need to replace the shield, it has a scar about the size of a quarter right in front of the bridge of my nose. Trying not to think of where I'd be without the brain bucket.

You were bloody lucky.

I was out riding in the country this afternoon.

I was also very glad to have a face shield, I got hit by a couple of large bugs, they must of had gall stone, by the sound of the impact on my face shield.

3/4 helmet

I had a 3/4 helmet. Bug. Big bug. I know it was big. I retrieved it later from inside my helmet. It was dead. I have a bald head. I also have a scar on my head. A "bug scar". I had a perfect head before that bug suicided itself inside my helmet. Now my head is defective. I now permanently hate bugs.

Thanks for the replies, I was able to polish out all but the deepest gouges in the face shield, but it still needs to be replaced, glad I've got a spare lid.

Bob, at over 50mph, with trees on both sides, I wouldn't be anywhere. I keep remembering a friend telling me, "You are bulletproof, until the Lord calls you home".
