• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

WOW, that was fast...........New rear tire needed soon!!

Bearings looked good,.belt tension looks good, new tire in place balanced and rolling good, and put about 100 miles on it to check everything....I really can' t tell any difference between stock yet.....wet weather will tell the tale......so far I just don' t feel any difference and if I can get 20,000 miles out of them I will be happy as all get out....thanks all...
Belt looks a little snug against the flange. Did you back the bike up just before taking the pic? If not check out the belt tracking after you run forward a bit, like around the block. Per the manual there should be about 2 to 5 mm clearance between the belt and flange.

thanks..

Thanks....I'll check that out..

I have a question, this will be a big deal for me here in Mexico. We have Costco and Firestone and stuff like that here, but not with the variety you guys are used to. Can a person who changes tires change a Spyder's tires? Or do I have to travel 2 hours to an agency here? They are not really dealers here, not 100% more like re-sellers, and I do not trust them alot either. Being I didn't have air in my shock they obviously sold it without the air, and who knows about the tool kit, and manual which I do not have either....Or can I change the tires? Or a motorcycle joint with experience on high end bikes? Thanks!

I'm Running 17f and 26r....also i put Ride On in all 3 tires...11 oz front each...18 oz rear....helps balance and a automatic flat fixer...could tell difference immediately...feels like I'm riding on air, no joke...no road feel...good stuff so far. 5 8oz bottles.

On the rear, if you pull the tire, pull the stuff off (disc, pully, ect) a std tire machine can change/balance it.......on the front it appears as simple as pulling the rim and taking to car tire shop, but not sure on that as I am still running originals on front and they still look great at 7000 miles so haven' t had the pleasure yet......

So good so far..What about pressures???????

I have been playing with pressures on the rear Kumho tire since installation and it appears to ride best(no sway or wiggle and not rough) at 26 1/2 lbs so I am running 26 1/2 lbs rear and 20 lbs front (cold)

Does this sound about right on stock front 15" and Kumho 15" (stock size) rear for mostly highway running??????at the 17 lbs the dealer recommends on front it seems to dive a little too much in turns...

100,000

getting ready to install my 4th Kumho today before leaving for Canada next week... My first three Kumhos averaged 30000 miles each, my first three Kendas averaged 8000 miles each so I would say there is considerable difference.. front tires can be flakey... my 2012 RT Oem tires lasted over 45000 miles while my 2014 RT front tires were defective and had to be replaced at under 8000 miles

100,000 Spyder ryder! That's awesome:)

I adjusted the the right adjustment and pulled it back till it tracked right and gave about 1/4 turn In on the pully side and pulled the right side back again till it started tracking where it was supposed to once again....Solved 2 issues at once, alignment and tension.... It solved all belt harmonics issues I was having since new at higher speeds also by adding a tiny bit of tension..riding better than new...... :-)
