• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

"WOW" factor ideas?

It might just be my choice of music, that is coloring my perceptions. :dontknow:

After all: Black Sabbath, AC/DC, Ted Nugent, Ozzy Osbourne and Blue Oyster Cult are NEVER turned down anyway! :D

Bob, You forgot Z Z Top, The greatest little old band from Texas there is , A How How How,:yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes:

Midnightbreeze:doorag::yes::yes::yes:

:D I sure dig them too!
"Southern Rock" is just not quite my favorite...
...but it's dang good and close!
Lynryd Skynryd
Johnny Winter
and ZZ top
all are well represented in that "Little Saltine cracker", that I call an I-Pod! :D

 I don't think that you really want that...
The idea of the speed variable volume control, is to boost the sound level, and ambient wind and vehicle noise increases. If you have the music being piped into your helmet: that environment should be MUCH more stable, and require far less fiddling with the volume. nojoke
Our Cardo Scala Q1 Team set adjusts the volume up as the speed increases!

A few items to keep ahead of the competition

Just coming off a BMW, some of the nice things to have on the Spyder that I miss somewhat...

- Keyless Ride
- LED lighting all around
- 3rd Brakelight
- auto locking bags
- factory builtin alarm

If I never had them - probably wouldn't miss them at all.

However, the one thing I would really like but have never had on any bike from the factory: high mileage tires! Why is that?

Can't think of anything to add to the current mix without it increasing the cost even more.

Our rides have come a long way. My first had a speedometer and that was it. 1964 Yamaha 80.

For factory improvements:

A miles per gallon readout would be great, its pretty much standard equipment on most vehicles and a lot of bikes.
A bit wider brake pedal for those panic stops
Third brake light
A better stereo system that is loud enough to hear at freeways speeds
More power or optional turbo
Better hinges on the side bags
Wider side bags
Louder horn
Accessory Fuse Box for farkles
Get rid of the pull out safety card, put it on sticker under the glove box

I realize some of these things can be added by the owner but making them OEM would be major improvement

It's time for the "fly to poop in the potato salad"...

How much would you be willing to pay for these "Wow-Factor" items? :dontknow:
