WOW blinker!

Ok running errands today I amasingly had a car in fron of me put enough effort to use the rarely seen blinker!nojoke:yikes::2thumbs: The vehicle however was stopped in left hand lane, to turn across the dedicated turn lane. 45mph zone & turned in on wrong 1/2 (one way exit)of neighborhood. But like I said THEY HAD THE BLINKER ON!

I couldnt help my self I followed them a block into neighborhood & pulled along side at first stop sign. Said THANKS for using binker , they politly responded nice bike Should I have said something about the other errors?:hun::lecturef_smilie: I made mental note of time as to avoid the area. Had to share:chat:

Don't come here...

You will have a heck of a time trying to figure out what blinkers are for...here..:yikes: we have the frightened driver who run the whole time with the four way on. Then there is the constant left turn signal for ten miles then they turn right, my favorite is the ones who pull into your lane and then turn on the turn signal. :yikes: and the scariest one that turns on the signal and crosses four lanes like he has the right of way...:yikes::yikes:

Wasnt tring to start battle for worst

3/4 or more would loose lisence if they required changing own tire on test. Much less checking the dip sticks(plural for good reason, confuse them more) this summer I have seen a growth in the triple lane changers, everone in sush a rush cus: thers my turn!) there will be no shortage of stupids anywhere & everywhere. Of the 9 states Ive visited this year Id say FL turn pike was relativly low incidents, atleast when I was there, found them hung up in road work on the I75 later though:banghead::barf:

Turn signals? only OLD people use them, stop lights/signs, speed limits? mere suggestions, Cracker Jack drivers do anything that keeps them happy.

YUP, IT'S A NATIONAL EPIDEMIC...
i driven in most every state in the union; sans ALASKA & HAWAII, and in my 67 years, nothing has improved...
however, a new epidemic is upon us: CELL PHONE USE while driving....
heading north on US 95 from Savannah, my wife and i witnessed the ultimate STUPIDITY... the car in front of us was weaving back-n-forth over the line, so i told my wife, "i'm getting around the idiot first chance i get"... the car weaved over to the right, so i gunned my 5.7 TUNDRA, and as we passed, the woman driving was talking on one phone, holding it with her left hand, while texting on a 2nd phone, with her right hand, with her right wrist pressed up against the steering wheel, all the while doing 70 mph.... i can only hope that if this is SoP for her, that she kills herself and nobody else....

That is a huge thorn in my side here in PA. I'm not sure when PennDot put the stops signs at the end of the ramps, but :banghead:. And then there are those that won't move over no matter what​ in order to let someone in.

Turn Signals??

Turn Signals???--- what are they??? Are they a farkel I can add to the cars and my RT??? Are they legal to use/own. Are they easy to install-- is there a video??? Does any have them-- pix would be nice:f_spider:

Hardly ever see them here but folks in cages sure change lanes , turn rt or left, cross 3 lanes and take a turn off on a major freeway with out using this mystery device

Cell phones???? All the laws against them haven't stopped people from using them, and I'm not sure that hands-free devices are that much safer??? ( Safer than texting for sure)


Speaking of turn signals:

I did install muth signal mirrors. Not a bright as I thought but they do make my intent to turn a bit more noticable and i don't leave the signal on any longer than neccesary.

A nice little trick some do here on Kauai

The first time I witnessed it, I couldn't believe what I had just seen. Now I always look for it.


First on the line at an intersection, going straight, waiting for the light to turn green. Driver going in the opposite direction, also first on the line, has his/her left turn signals on.

As soon as the light turns green the driver who is signaling makes an immediate left turn right in front of oncoming traffic. I see this happening all the time. It's a monkey see monkey do thing. Where's a cop when you need him/her? :banghead:
